if you intend entering other countries from belarus, then you must have a rethink. if your going for hustling, why dont you try eu or schengen countries.

Will d $6000 be enough for my tuition and living expenses in Belarus?

dungar4: Will d $6000 be enough for my tuition and living expenses in Belarus?

yes, it might be enough , but depending on the course you wish to study. tuition for medicine is between 3900$-4000$, hostel fee might be around 250$-400$, your monthly expenses might be around 100$-150$, include money for winter jacket, and also money for school agent fee which might be around 800$-1000$ depending on the school. some school agents collect 800$, and you know that most schools in belarus dont issue direct admission, you must go through their agent.

what school and course are u intrested in?

I really appreciate the information that is flowing in here as i intend to go to Belarus. Though i intend to just go for patfak and then try to get a visa to study in a medical university in ukraine from the ukraine embassy in Belarus. I would really appreciate it if someone could enlighten me on how possible carrying out this plan would be. My brother and friends are in ukraine so naturally i prefer to study in Ukraine , the ukrainian embassy in nigeria is just being impossible...... I would really appreciate some advice ..thanks

Folks, going to Belarus to do what? Study? Ok, that's fine and that's basically all you can legally do there. Was there personally some months back (via train) and I really can understand why folks wanna leave 9ja but why Belarus of all places?
Anyone telling you that you can cross to the EU zone easily is playing with you. Yes, EU visas are cheaper from there but you must have a genuine reason when applying for the visa.
Bottom line is this, Belarus is No Europe.
If you want to study, fine but there are better options!
My 0.55 cents

Crossing from Belarus to Ukraine? Sorry you lost me here. Why?
You can actually hit Ukraine directly instead of from Bel to Ukraine.

To answer your question, it all depends on your intention but yes, going from Belarus to Ukraine is almost like going from Lagos to Abuja. You can reach it even by bus e.g from Brest to Lvov but you will need visas for both countries even transit sef.

Hope you get my drift. cheesy

Hello everybody, for those that have ears listen attentively, Belarus is the worst country anyone can ever think of, even worster than the poor Philippines, no good food, no job opportunity , racism it at the highest level, for instance the average salary in Spain is about 1000 Euros like wise Germany and other good Europe countries while the average salary in Belarus is 200 to 250 Euros so you can imagine the big difference, the country is a very poor country and communication also is very bad because their official language is Russian, if you intend to study abroad consider good countries like Sweden, Norway, Germany, Ireland, UK, Spain, France, Switzerland, Italy and so on , but Belarus is a no go area
