Guess the top possesion teams in Europe? Most would have guessed Arsenal would be top 5 [size=18pt]Possession[/size] The chart below highlights the best teams in Europe in terms of average possession. Yet again Barcelona are streaks ahead, averaging a staggering 70%. Bayern Munich are comfortably in second place with 65.7% and Real Madrid lie third. [img]http://thompsontalkstactics.files./2012/01/p1-51.png[/img] AC Milan are Italy’s most dominating side in terms of possession with 60.5%, one place above their title rivals Juventus (59.4%). A French side finally makes it into a top ten with Lille averaging a very good 59% of possession. Arsenal have the most possession in England. The London club and Manchester City make up only two Premier League clubs in the top ten – probably a result of the fact that the Premier League has a smaller range of possession. |

Are these stats based on UCL, league games or both? Also what season(s)? Anyone who's been watching Arsenal knows they haven't been passing/keeping the ball as well as they used to, no surprise there. |

Definitely not CL games because Juventus is not in the CL And in one category I saw Swansea so I would think its basically the league games. That would be for this current season, But even according to UEFA Bayern is the 2nd team after barcelona based on CL games in the last 2 seasons |

This is definitely wrong because the 3 top possession teams in Prem this season are City, Chelsea, Swansea in that order. Arsenal should not be in that list. |
