I think its a simple case. . . if a certain food is not allowed into Australian then its not allowed, declaring it doesn't mean you are allowed to take it in.

Australia has one of the strictest rule with regards to food,leaves and plant enetering their country

I saw an episode where some school kids were told to go wash their (rugby/soccer) boots properly before entering cos it might be contaminated with 'species' alien to the crops!!

I can't get enough of. . nothing to declare programs. . .its really a good program.

Their definition of food is very wide, its fair to say if you have anything that goes to the mouth just declare it.

I declared Egusi, ogbolo, dry veg leaves, crayfish, Dry Oha, stock fish, e.t.c and I was allowed to take them home without any drama
