@poster: the most powerful celebrity is chinue achebe (novelist) because almost everyone that passed primary school has heard of him.
even Didier Drogba is among, even me that is not a fan of football has heard of him.
And Akon when it comes to music.
As for Mandela, the area boy will not even know where he comes from not to talk of who he is.
