StarBoard: not even the arsenal fans would agree with you. he mauled the arsenal defence in the first leg. zlatan is a world class player(when he's in the mood). |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Nobody: 11:14pm On Mar 06, 2012 |
coogar:Not so. If he was world class he wouldn't be this poor. He mauled Arsenal because they let him.Zlatan has never been big in the CL.He never made any impact even at Barcelona. Why is he picking when to be a world-class player? |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by coogar: 11:19pm On Mar 06, 2012 |
StarBoard: because he was surrounded by other world class players. he scored good 21 goals and 13 odd assists for barcelona in 41 apps how can a striker having a debut season outshine messi who scored 47 goals in the same season. |

So much for the Thiago Silva As for Ibra. . . .dude is a waste. . . i now know Evans marking him out at San Siro two year ago wasn't a fluke How Arsenal allowed him do so much damage is still a mystery |

Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Nobody: 5:34am On Mar 07, 2012 |
coogar:And that hasn't explained why after playing for Inter,Juve,Ajax and Barca, his CL record and performances have been average at best. He was surrounded by world-class players yet after one season he got intimidated and refused to return to Barca. That's rather world-class:running away from folks who should make one thrive. The guy is a fraud.Yesterday vs Arsenal was a prime example. |

In defense of Ibra. . . . .Robinho, El-sharawy and Emmanuelson (isn't this dude Ibo) didn't help his case at all! |

i don't care if pogba moves out - since we lost ravel morrison, i stopped paying attention to the academy. we can lose the whole academy and i wouldn't even flinch. the way saf handled those young boys has been disgraceful. he deserves what he gets. morrison/pogba sat on the bench and fergie played rafael and js park ahead of them? if i was pogba, i would want out as well. |

there will be other players. |

Paul Scholes was the most notable absentee from training on Wednesday ahead of the tie. His fellow midfielder Tom Cleverley did take part though, suggesting a potential comeback after his recent ankle injury. Chris Smalling seemed to have recovered from the head wound he sustained on England duty. There was no sign of Michael Owen, and Antonio Valencia trained on his own as he continues his recovery from a hamstring strain. The youngster Paul Pogba was training with the reserves who were not involved in Tuesday's second-string match against West Brom, further fuelling reports he has agreed to join Juventus in the summer. |

@emperoh kai pls dont mention furo "the enemy" again o! dt guy as a defender was as daft as a brush particularly in d olympics i am prepared to trust fergie on d handling of the youngsters because at their age they should not b giving a club like united ultimatums.it shows they don't have the mentality to play for d club.alex ferguson has shown time n time again that he values commitment, loyalty, right mentality almost as much as mere talent. morrison and pogba with their carpetbagger agents are the type of players to sow seeds of discord in a dressing room.united has lost more talented and more established players than this lot and still won titles so one thing is certain, united will go on. if they give in to a player with negligible first team experience like pogba what do you think he would do next? demand to play X amount of games n minutes of course! by next season his agent will whisper sweet nothings into his oblong and he will be demanding to start! that is not the united way at least not under sir alex.if united is a one man team that man is sir alex ferguson |

Bayer Leverkusen being gang-banged at camp Nou. A few years ago, Bayern conceded 4 in 45 minutes. German teams are really rubbish.dayokanu will tell us how amazing they are, yet a German side is yet to win a European club trophy in over a decade. Now see a German rep being torn to shreds |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by chamotex(m): 11:36pm On Mar 07, 2012 |
It just dawned on me that Messi has scored 48 goals plus 20 assists so far this season and we are still in early March. Smh |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by coogar: 11:47pm On Mar 07, 2012 |
chamotex: it's obscene. the number of goals messi and ronaldo are scoring in la liga is disgusting. messi has now scored 200+ goals in the last 5 seasons - averaging 40 goals per season. what the hell!!! |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by chamotex(m): 11:52pm On Mar 07, 2012 |
coogar: And those 48 goals came in 42 apps . . . . no player should be scoring more goals than appearances . . . it should be illegal. Ronaldo must be wondering what else he needs to do . . . I feel sorry for him. Do you think they cant do it in the Premiership? . . . Ronaldo has proved that by scoring 40+ goals. |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by chic2pimp(m): 11:54pm On Mar 07, 2012 |
coogar:Waste of money? I don't think so. Unless you are Xavi or Messi, you're definitely going to have a bad day @ the office. dayokanu:Dude has a bad game by his standards and all the naysayers come running out. Show any central defender who hasn't had one and i'll happily take down that post. |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by RuuDie(m): 11:55pm On Mar 07, 2012 |
Not forgetting 12 in 7 UCL matches. . . . .that's RVN's record about to be thrashed. the dude is just too darn good and he'd average the same anywhere, in any league in the world! |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by dayokanu(m): 12:13am On Mar 08, 2012 |
Messi and Ronaldo Bring Madrid and barca to any league and they would score a similar number of goals Even in England the useless 2 left legged RVP scores for fun nowadays can only score 4 in the CL and 18 all this career while Messi has scored 12 in a single season |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by coogar: 12:24am On Mar 08, 2012 |
dayokanu: they cannot do it in england. forget it. . . . .robert huth woulda murdered messi and ronaldo. the protection they get in la liga is world class. . . . .over here, phil dowd would look the other way. chamotex: ronaldo is not doing bad too. he's has scored 38 goals in 37 apps - messi has played more games . . . domestic cup, uefa super cup and world club cup has boosted messi's number of apps. ronaldo has 30 la liga goals in 25 apps. these numbers won't work in the premier league. our league is more difficult. more meaningless games in between. if it's not carling cup, it's fa cup and so on and forth. the lack of winter break is also key in england. |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by chamotex(m): 12:25am On Mar 08, 2012 |
Sometimes I think we need to appreciate what some payers have achieved. Messi scored 5 tonight in 90mins - that's more than Fernando Torres has scored in 36 apps this season. |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by coogar: 12:31am On Mar 08, 2012 |
chamotex: messi's team is superior though. let's not forget that. the creativity of xavi and iniesta outweighs anything chelsea have done this season. messi's number of hatricks(eight) this season is more than the combined league caroll and torres have managed this season. |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by dayokanu(m): 12:39am On Mar 08, 2012 |
coogar: Robert Huth that couldnt murder those Valencia boys would now murder Messi? WHy didnt Robert Huth murder Ronaldo when he was there? The above average La Liga players like Mata, Silva, Aguero Toure have now become household names in EPL Bring Messi to EPL, Surely he loves those brainless defenders like Shawcross, Caulker, McAuley etc 2 Likes |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by chamotex(m): 12:43am On Mar 08, 2012 |
coogar: Messi and Ronaldo have upgraded from scoring hat-tricks, they tend to score 4 and 5 these days . . . by next season it will be 6. Fergie should forget winning the European title in the near future . . . he might as well retire or focus on the league. The emergence of Christian Tello and Isaac Cuenca is frightening. They seem like the next best young starlets. |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by coogar: 12:48am On Mar 08, 2012 |
dayokanu: he wont score 50 goals here. he cannot. you would have to ship the whole of barcelona to the english league for them to score. valencia players are unknown. who sabi them? tony pulis didn't set out a special plan to stop any player in the team. with messi n ronaldo, u have one plan for the team and another plan centred on how to stop those players. above average la liga players joined top teams. they are not doing it alone here. mata didnt have drogba, sturride in la liga. aguero didnt have david silva and dzeko in athletico madrid. would mata be known if he had joined fulham? would aguero shine if he had joined west brom? none of them has outscored van persie in the league or even wayne rooney. so what are we saying. messi would play 4 competitions here and he wouldn't get the winter break that allows players refresh in spain. messi won't score 40 goals here in england. he won't! |
