Victor Musa is another highest goal loser. This one can't make it at United.

Endo, Mac Allister and Curtis Jones started the game in midfield for Liverpool and when Jones got injured, Gravenberch replaced him. Liverpool have controlled the game perfectly and with their midfielders central to that.

Now, look a that Liverpool midfield, they all started to play together this season but they play so well together...

We have Casemiro, Eriksen, Mainoo, Bruno, McTom and Amrabat but we still dominate even the bottom-placed team. Is it that ETH does not fancy a controlled game or he just doesn't know how to coach our midfielders to keep the ball and make better use of it?

We need to step up because it doesn't look like Liverpool, City or Arsenal will be slowing down in the near future...

The new Technical Director Jason Wilcox was in charge of Man City's academy for several years so that is potentially a good signing. Then we are also in for Ashworth from Newcastle which is another potentially good signing. Sir Jim seems to be making the right moves but only time will tell.

Not finalised yet but it seems certain to happen. He is currently DoF at Southampton but his major success was with the City Academy where he was director.

I suspect that he will focus more on the youth development side of things while Ashworth deals with the first team and transfers. His appointment will have 2 implications, which are that Paul Mitchell will probably not be coming now and that Nick Cox our Academy Director (who has not done badly) might be squeezed out.

Absolutely.

Our next 6 fixtures: Luton (A), Fulham (H), City (A), Everton (H), Sheffield (H), Brentford (A).

We win 5 of those 6 and we could be right on top of Aston Villa and Tottenham, if not above them.

Tottenham is starting to drop points and Aston Villa has a tough fixture list as well. Moreover, the two teams play each other in about a month or so.

The ball is in United’s court. If we get rid of our inconsistency and start putting those matches against smaller opposition to bed, we might make it.
