I'm not scared of them. What are they playing? I even think those Shaktar Porto will be more dangerous. Those ones attack without fear cos they have nothing to lose

OK. Shaw performance was energetic, no sign of someone struggling with fitness. If he is replaced, it would be because the manager does not want him and not for his fitness or performance.

Lukaku went two months (10 matches) with just one goal. Even matches we played him in the opposition box are there. If you add the Arsenal match that is 11 matches.

Yet people said he is getting better. From September ending to date, Lukaku has scored only one league goal. One big chance against Newcastle, that he couldn't have missed.

People who complained were right to do so. In those matches, Martial, Rashford, Young scored. Yet the excuse is that we park bus. Lie lie lies from the pit of hell.

Elampiro, your argument that Martial, Young and others have been amongst the goals and not Lukaku is spot on, however, I have seen improvements in Lukaku's overall game play and he must be doing something well for others around him to be thriving. You can't compare how well others are doing with Lukaku with when Zlatan led the line, he scored more but he didn't press from the front quite as much.

MOURINHO'S REDS EQUAL HISTORIC CLUB RECORD

With Tuesday's victory over CSKA Moscow, Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United equalled a historic club record by remaining unbeaten at Old Trafford for 40 matches in all competitions.

The Reds have not lost at home since the Manchester derby in September 2016. In 40 ensuing games, fans have seen 29 wins, 11 draws, 85 goals scored and just 17 conceded.

This current run is the joint-best in club history, alongside a record that was initially established in the mid-1960s. After a 0-1 home reverse against Leeds United on 5 December 1964, Matt Busby’s Reds went unbeaten at Old Trafford until Leicester City sprung a 2-1 upset on 9 April 1966. Of that stupendous 40-game streak, United won 26 and drew 14, scoring 89 goals and conceding 32.
Manchester City on Sunday are all that stand between the Reds and a new club record.

United’s top 5 unbeaten home runs
1. 40 matches – December 1964 to April 1966
=1. 40 matches – September 2016 to present
3. 38 matches – December 1998 to April 2000
4. 37 matches – April 2010 to October 2011
5. 33 matches – March 1955 to October 1956

FORTRESS OLD TRAFFORD
Historically, United’s success has been built on relentless home form. This season has adhered to that template for success. From the opening day obliteration of West Ham United, through the visits of Leicester City, Basel, Everton, Burton Albion, Crystal Palace, Tottenham, Benfica, Newcastle, Brighton and CSKA Moscow, United have ground down all comers. Some have been quickly swatted aside, others gradually outmanoeuvred, but none have left with so much as a point.

The result is that United have broken a post-war record of winning the first 11 home games in a season, scoring 31 times and conceding just thrice. Ahead of the recent victory over an in-form Tottenham, manager Jose Mourinho shrugged: “I just think normally we have performances at home, normally we trust our game, and yes, the results have been positive at home. We had lots of draws at home last season - too many - but normally at home we are a strong and confident team.”

Last term’s results – though frustrating at times – nevertheless marked a vital solidifying of Old Trafford as a venue. Last September, Manchester City put on an impressive show, but secured a 2-1 victory amid controversial circumstances in which goalkeeper Claudio Bravo was fortunate to escape a red card and the concession of a penalty. That remains the solitary home defeat the Portuguese has suffered since his arrival in the summer of 2016. Teams no longer relish the trip to Old Trafford.

A substantial part of United’s post-Sir Alex Ferguson travails stemmed from a loss of authority in M16, where visiting teams were suddenly emboldened into attacking at a stadium where previously they had realistically countenanced only defeat. Within a season, West Bromwich Albion, Everton, Newcastle United, Tottenham, Swansea City, Liverpool, Manchester City and Sunderland had all departed as victors.

Though the reign of Louis van Gaal began with a home defeat against Swansea, his appointment coincided with the initial restoration of fortress Old Trafford. The Dutchman’s two-season reign contained six home defeats in total – two less than the season which preceded his appointment.

Mourinho’s arrival has dug a moat and manned the ramparts. His career record in home league games makes for ludicrous reading, with 284 matches rendering 222 wins, 52 draws and just 10 defeats.

Not advocating for dropping Lukaku for anyone, not even Ibrahimovic.

The guys who started the argument against us simply created two extremes. They think themselves to be Lukaku lovers and us as Lukaku haters.

Why can't they understand the fact that we saw something and said it sincerely. It doesn't make us Arsenal fans or City fans or Chelsea fans. May be I will get my phone on my palm during matches, when Lukaku does those things I am talking about, I immediately mention it. Then people will understand.

Since September 9, almost 3 months now, Rashford has scored 1 league goal

How many has Mata, Mikitaryan also scored since those times?

Of all Man utd attackers, martial is the only attacker having any decent scoring record

Why are all Man Utds attackers out of form in scoring suddenly, and you dont think this is a problem with the tactical setup

Ozil is someone you fear when he plays against your team cos he can hurt you at any time with his gift of the final pass and vision.
On the other hand when he is on your team you can easily get frustrated with him because of his inconsistent work rate and his tendency to disappear in games Mkhi style.

Look at these two screenshots closely, you will understand one or two things. Our wide men don't score many. They are even trying this season.

You havent answered me, How many Man Utd attackers are having a good run in the past 2 months

If all your attackers are poor all of a sudden, shouldnt that tell you its more than an individual issue rather a systemic issue

I have shown you Lukaku scores as much as other top strikers in the league like Morata Aguero Lacazette and Jesus

I have shown you that Lukaku misses chances at the same rate as Aguero Lacazete Morata

I have shown you Lukaku is having a dry run in the league just like other Man Utd attackers

There is nothing going on with Lukaku that is different from other strikers in the league or other attackers in the club

Do you have another problem with Lukaku that you havent said because all your stats are not agreeing that Lukaku has a problem thats peculiar to him

....... that's why I hope United can get him for free. Ozil is definitely gonna be an Upgrade on Mkhtaryan.

To be candid, I'm kinda running out of Pastience for Mkhtaryan, coz it seems he won't ever be consistent for a whole Season.

Mkhtaryan ought to be the one playing behind Lukaku, Martial/Rashford instead of Lingard, coz he gets the Pace and the Skills to thrive in the Position.

I pray the sabbatical Leave granted to him by Jose gonna reset him back to the Mkhtaryan of the last Season.
