Someone knowledgable about this should please help. 1. what is the difference buying a stock at the floor market and at public offers. 2. Which way is more profitable |

When you buy a public offer (PO), you have to wait a significant amount of time to recieve your certificate. This means you have to wait 3-12 months before you can sell the shares you bought. (Shares bought on the floor can be resold in 3-5 days) The benefit is that POs are offered at a discount to the current floor price hence you make more when you sell. POs are a lot more profitable as long as you are willing to wait a while to receieve and register your certificates. |
