Below are stop rates for treasury bill auction held today 7th November 2012 91 days bill was at 12.75% 182 days bill was at 13.03% 364 days bill was at 13.0489% |

oga feelamong and house pls if i subscribe the 91 days TB will 12.7 percent be paid to me immediately or do i av to wait till the end of the 91 days period. And at the end of the 91 days period, do they av to pay the capital to be or reinvest it for me. |

Please can you explain the rates following the link cos i keep seeing around 14% but a banker told me last week that the max available is 11%.how true is that pls? |

ayztech: You can actually get this from your bankers or discount houses just like i do get mine. at times CBN does put up these stop rates on their web sites...but like most govt agencies they are no really very religious about it |

ayztech: This is the CBN link http://www.cenbank.org/rates/govtsecurities.asp but like i said earlier its not being updated regularly. As for the Treasury bill lessons, just go to Investopedia and you will get the minutest info you need on treasury bills there..happy investing! 1 Like |

MyMail2D: Hi, Actually the Auction has been done this morning!I actually quoted a wrong date on one of my previous post! There is another one on the 27th of this month! I expect the rates to hinge up a bit to maybe 12% (91days) as the states FAAC is yet to hit the system and there is a little scarcity of funds amongst bank treasurers as interbank rates has moved up. |
