Hello house, when is the next TB auction?

The last t-bills auction via the primary market was conducted on Nov 29, 2017. We still await the CBN to conduct sale of t-bills via OMO. I hope this information helps.

Morning to you all, nice work you've been doing so far. I currently hold an account with GT and am interesting in investing in Tbills however due to the nature of my job, am not chanced to visit the bank and make enquiries. Please I need a date for the next sales, when can I walk in to the bank to purchase and who do I meet exactly?

I intend investing 1.250m for 90days.

Too Bad no one want to help, Still pleading though for a way around. anyone? kindly put me through.

People are really making money right now in crypto especially bitcoin, but when the kasala go burst, lot of hospitals will reject many people with strange high blood pressure grin. If investors can take the risk, good then.

This may not be true as TB is on this week and most likely next week. My fund has been deducted by my bank for that purpose anyway, just waiting for the bidding on Thursday.

Got a call from FBN that secondary market was not available for the time period I requeste. Just Got debited by FBN via Primary market.
Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by awesomeJ(m): 11:36am On Dec 12, 2017
It appears the DMO has actually pulled through with this refinancing plan they had. Papers maturing in December will most likely be outrightly paid off, rather than get rolled over. So I don't expect anymore t-bills auction this year.
If you've debited upfront expect a refund by Thursday, and if you're still waiting on an auction, then be ready to wait till 2018, or just shift plans to the secondary market where you may actually get better deals.

Many thanks, skydiver for the info.

This information has led to an aggressive demand in the Treasury bills Secondary market thereby crashing the rates further.

At this time, being 12 noon Treasury bills in the Secondary  market are trading as follows:

91days - 7.40%
182 days -  7.00%
364days - 7.00%

Thank you.

This was the news I got from my bank this afternoon.
Will the rates rise again?

You can't get the quoted dates from the secondary market.

Are you sure of the rate you posted.

Sub 10% may be the norm by the end of first quarter of 2018.
