Do you know the unit cost of a 5th generation chinese fighter jet? Compare the prices between let say US F22 raptor to chinese J20 or Russian Sukhoi 47. The cost of a single US jet could triple russian and chinese plane of thesame class!

The US military hardwares are usually very expensive, hence, the high cost of defence. Besides, the US is involved in multiple wars i.e Afghan and Iraq wars which requires large amonut of money to nourish. The last time I checked, the war in Iraq is costing US 1 billion dollar/day to sustain. -360 billion dollars***

When you subtract the cost of fighting in Iraq and Afghan and remove the extra cash needed to cushion the high price of purchasing hardwares in US in relation to China, you would be left with no option than to give it to China.

Secondly, have you factor in the disparaties between personnel welfare and allowances?
Do you know the amount costing China to maintain a soldier on average basis? How much is the minimum wage in US? How much is the cost of training or retraining a single pilot in US in relation to China? All the aforemention must be considered before arriving at a good conclusion . . .You don't just look at blind figures and shout eureka! Do the math bro, do the math!

China has had nuclear weapons as far back as the 80s.
They've had biological and chemical weapons since that time too.
