Stupid students. They should be jailed for a very long time. These are the types who are disturbing the peace of the University. I hope security in the campus is taken seriously to arrest every criminal among the good population.

Every negative news about lasu will quickly made the front .when scores of people were killed withing the premises of unilag last year we didnt hear anything.another one occured recently but didnt made the front page.

The glamorous lovers’ day
celebration on Monday turned
bloody at the University of
Lagos (UNILAG) when
gunmen killed two students.
Daily Sun gathered that the
clash was between two rival
cult groups, namely,
and the Buccaneers,’ over a
female student allegedly
snatched by the Capone of the
for Valentine
celebration.
The action of the Capone , the
source said did not go down
well with the other group
leading to the clash.
A student who witnessed the
shooting said besides the two
cult members who were shot
dead, about four others
sustained injuries and were
ferried out of the campus by
their leaders to shield their
identity.
The sources said the cult
members who carried out the
attack were not UNILAG
students but members from
another campus, adding that
the attack was carried out in
a commando style with
sporadic shooting.
An undergraduate student of
English Department told Daily
Sun that the Buccaneers’
group attacked the
members while another
student returning from the
Mosque said those who
carried out the killing were
not from UNILAG because
they did not cover their faces.

On Monday Feb 14th, Valentine's
Day, two students of the
University of Lagos were
reportedly killed near New Hall.
The incident occurred around
10:30 pm at night as students
gathered to enjoy the Valentine's
Day in front of new hall, at the
school's Akoka Campus.
From what students in the school
are saying, apparently there was
a clash between two rival cult
groups, names withheld, over a
female student allegedly
snatched by the Capone of one
the cult groups, which did not go
down well with the other group
leading to the clash. (No one truly
knows if this was the real cause
of the killings, but that's the gist
flying around in unilag).
A student who witnessed the
shooting said besides the two
cult members who were shot
dead, about four others were
also gravely injured.
RIP to the ones who lost their
lives...
The school authority has since
issued a statement on the
matter...

Part of the joblessness of the youths in our society. These young guys will now graduate into robbers, boko harams, kidnappers, oil pipe vandalizers etc. They should be into Rehab as they are still young. But if any of they confesses to killing someone else then he too must be killed. Umagine what the future of Nigeria looks like.

That is just how they go spoiling images to create headlines, this is so quacky and unprofessional.LASU is always associated to the Ill news of that vicinity and they won't take note that nowadays boys join fraternities in their areas without gaining admission and taking note that ojo is a vice city a crime is always tagged to LASU.if the school is sharp enough a lawsuit should be slammed on P.M news for Damages.Cultism is really on a low-key now in LASU,as a lasuite I was really surprised at the news.

Eiye, abi?Now they've been de-winged.They Won't be 'flying' in the nearest future
I don't think the arrested cultist are eiye member because eiye don't use black beret, and I wonder what they will be doing with axe.axe and black beret belong to the axeman confraternity.
All in all,no meaningful gain in violence, let's embrace peace.

They have blood on their hands.
An EYE (EIYE! grin) FOR AN EYE.
Please "waste" these 'waste' ones. End of story.
Re: 11 LASU Students Arrested With Guns At Ijanikin by gbadeboy2: 4:50pm On Apr 14, 2012
The whole story doesnt add up.firstly the okada rider took them to ijanikin to attack the 'aiye',then the okada rider reported and they caught an accomplice who later took them to their hideout in the same ijanikin where they went to attack,am assuming they stay further away since they took okada there.finally they found a black beret and axes which are the trade mark of aiyes with them,so obviously they got the story backwards or after the attack, they further set the remaining ones up to prevent a repraisal attack.
I dont
support youths wasting their lives away meaninglessly,am just stating my observation.
