Hey guys, I just wanted to know what other kind of names people call our currency notes. I was coming from skul dis evening and decided to buy some stuff at a local provision shop, after buying, I gave the boy N50 and i was to collect N20. After that the following conversation took place between the boy and his mum who was sitting inside the shop:
boy's mum: eelo ni won fun e?
boy: waso! grin ( meaning N50)
boy's mum: eevo ni won mb gba?
boy: poun mewa
At this point, i couldnt hold back my laughter.:-D. I had previously knew N20 to be muri kan. Now let me break it down.
N2 = poun kan
N5 = poun meji at'aabo. N10 would then be poun marun.
N20 = muri kan, N50 = waso, so If u have any other names people call our notes, i wuld gladly like to hear them. Keep'em coming! kiss
