Would anybody be kind enough to share with me how a Nigerian contractor working through odesk can withdraw his money?

That's nice. But must the account be a domiciliary account?

I have worked for odesk before. If u are a registered contractor, u must have been given three payout options - paypal, payoneer mastercard and wire bank transfer. As a nigeria, the last 2 options are viable.

I decide to go for the mastercard which they helped me to process though it took about 2months before it arrived by mail in nigeria.
If u are opting for bank transfer, then u must own a dormiciliary account.

Payoneer is the best option.
