Mastering 2 or 3 foreign languages will help a lot. |

Damolux01: No one seems to know any thing about being a Diplomat here The Ministry of Foreign Affairs - The thing is that most times they hire children of Diplomats so its usually an in-house thing. Try AU, Ecowas and other international Agencies like USAID in Nigeria. The UN does not allow Nigerians to write the YP exams anymore so forget UN. I suggest that you don't limit yourself to foreign service only. Use the analytical, negotiation, communication and research skills to market yourself to any career field, as long as its does not require technical skills (I'm an example). If you decide to go for a Masters, not IR or ISD. Good luck! 1 Like |
