^^^^^ The above is spot-on. It is a known fact that all EPL clubs have more than enough to spend hence the crazy transfer prices, besides to train up a football youngster from scratch to maturity is no beans coupled with inflation and the profit over football sense agents and Tech directors and gbam = high transfer fees.

Some clubs are also reckless and dont know how to manage resources tho.

Clubs like Barca and Bayern hardly get it wrong, even when its looks like they are overpaying e.g Renato,Neymar,Costa, Vidal....

Overpaying for Neymar? When was the last time a player from your club mounted the Balon d'or podium?

English clubs earn more money.

Last Year Aston Villa earned more money from TV revenue than Real Madrid earned from winning the Champions League.

That's why, you will see player x going to Spain or Italy for 15m pounds, but once an Enlglish club should gboriwole, they will quote him 45m.

That's the real reason why it seems like we're buying average and untested products for large amounts of money. Just look across to Manchester and check how much world class players actually cost English clubs, and you will never need to write these your epistles again.

If you are richer then you should have more quality unless you are not spending enough which is not the case in EPL
EPL is getting more, spending more and still buy less quality in the transfer market, no logic in the world can explain that except the fact that the people in charge are dumb which is exactly my point

In some cases what you explained happens but its the normal thing to do....Jeez that's why you earn more, blow them away...
The fact that English teams aren't buying certain players because of the inflated prices would suggest EPL teams spend wisely, which is not the case

It makes little sense to overpay for an inferior quality because you don't wanna overpay for a superior talent!
Everton were asked to pay €25 for a 22 year old Boufal, they didn't want to overpay so they went for a cheaper 30m Bolasie

Overpaying shouldn't be a problem for the right talent
Its one thing to Overpay for Hazard, its another to overpay for Willian or Sterling
Back then we overpayed for Hazard, who would complain now?
We overplayed for Drogba and m sure I speak for everyone when i say we would be happy to do that over and over again

If English teams are backing out of a deal because of the cost and go make a worse deal for the back up,then we have a P...
We didn't want to overpay for Costa,so we overpayed for Cuadrado

If Dortmund bid 25m for Dembele,we should pay 35 for him,at the end of the day we both are bidding around the same percentage of our budget
It makes no sense for a rich girl to lose a girl because he doesn't want to spend

By the way despite withdrawing from great deals because they don't wanna spend,85% of EPL deals are still inflated
Its not like EPL teams still don't overpay despite withdrawing from great deals because of the price
Fellaini,Sterling,Bolasie,Willian,Mangala,Otamendi e.t.c
Why not overpay for the right quality and let us bully teams all over Europe with money

Even with the Inflation excuse,we have seen EPL teams like Spurs and Leicester make bargain signing.... Alderwierld, Dier,Alli,Mahrez,Kante,Vardy and co

Even if I agree 100% with you,it's is not enough as an excuse

2- Even without the inflation,EPL has scouting issues
Bayern got Coman without competition
Dortmund got Dembele without a fight
Juve got Dybala without stress
Atl Mad didn't compete with any EPL team before signing Niguez,Carrasco, Griezman

It's a different thing if you don't wanna overpay,it's another thing if you didn't even scout the player

So you can't say Inflation of prices is the only problem the league has in bringing in talents

Lastly EPL teams aren't the only ones that face the inflation problem,Bayern,Barca,Madrid and Juve also face it and they still manage to get cheap and quality signings and yes they overpay for some too

Those clubs would hardly let Lukaku and KDB leave without a buy back clause and the would choose Cuadrado over Costa or Bolasie over Boufal...

You do realize There are strict rules requiring English players to play? That's why the money is beamed on the youth academys.

4 players in squad trained at club.
8 trained in England or something like that.

Besides EPL Is full of ego, they don't even scout the America's frequently again, it's all about the EU.

I generally believe that player recruitment is done better on the continent anyway, but not for any of the reasons you've listed up there.

The first thing you need to understand is that the UK as a country is a less appealing destination to many foreign players than say Italy France and Spain.

Italy, France, and Spain benefit from better weather, lower taxation, and cultural similarity. Their press/paparazzi are less aggressive, and the game is played at a slower pace, and arguably the chics are hotter sef.
Skegness or Nice/Monaco. Blackpool or Marbella/Ibiza. Eastbourne or Palermo. I know which beaches I would rather be on. Ask Di Maria.

The second thing you need to know, is that the people who carry out these transfers, especially in the UK, are business men, not coaches. They are using business eyes to look at the transfer.

While a manager can see how his target can fit into his team, and use that as justification for the transfer, the money men tend to look at the player as an asset and look at his individual(and potential) achievements to justify whther on not they will be able to reap a really good ROI. That's why you will hear rumours of the board insisting that a certain player must play either because he is sponsored by Adidas, or to raise the club's profile in Azerbaijan or fuckknows.

The third thing you need is that players themselves don't like stress. They would rather go to a place where the title is guaranteed(or almost guaranteed) than EPL where oloriburukus like West Ham and West Brom will come and derail your title race and even give you a career ending injury on top.

Finally, you need to know that the likes of Madrid/Barca/Juve/Bayern are the football equivalent of Oil Companies in the Nigerian Job Market. Look at Ronaldo who won EPL/UCL with Manyoo and still practically forced a move away to Spain. When those clubs come calling, sometimes all the money in the world is not enough to deter your players from answering their call.

The question you should be asking is, despite the fact that Manyoo has been one of the richest clubs in the world for over a decade, City essentially being an apparatus of the Abu Dhabi state government, and Chelsea spending Oligarch money, why is Pogba is the first global superstar in his prime to come to the EPL since inception in 1992?

It seems like the constant action potential to your brain is making it fatigued and it has affected your sense of judgment.
This is A player that was chased by every big club in the world and had already made a name for himself on the international scene?
How does paying £48.6 million look like overpaying for such a player especially even after a year later, Sterling was bought for about £55 million? And not to forget that Real Madrid were willing to pay more.
He doesn't fit that classification..

This is what happens when you just jump in ridiculously to attack a conversation you aren't even prepared for; you have to resort to telling lies.
Reducing the cost of Neymar's transfer while increasing Sterling's; Telling lies from both sides of the mouth almost simultaneously.
I advise you move on from this, it could still get worse for you.

Saw the link to this article on Twitter. Seems very accurate. The Emenalo and Oscar issues were brought up(I didn't call no names o). Also seems to give sensible reasons for fabregas' exclusion in the last match.

Excerpt:
'Whatever the reality is, it appears that Conte is largely going to work with what he has at his disposal now. If that is the case then Conte’s attempts to reinvigorate Chelsea’s midfield will be integral to the success the club has this season.
On paper Conte has settled on a 4·1·4·1 formation. For those who like to analyse formations there are elements of a 4·3·3 and 4·2·4 when Chelsea are in possession and a 4·5·1 without. Fluidity, however, is the crucial tenet upon which Conte is rebuilding this Chelsea team. In this respect having multifunctional midfield options is going to be crucial. The early interest in Radja Nainggolan, a very good all-rounder as opposed to excellent in a specific area, makes sense. Without the investment, what are Chelsea’s options?

Chelsea’s back four were abused last season. Yes, people can be critical of the individual components that made up Chelsea’s worst performing defence in roughly 20 years, but it overlooks a common theme. If your midfield pivot in a 4·2·3·1 cannot tackle, lacks athleticism and the strength to compete there are serious ramifications for the rest of the team. Too often, mediocre teams could waltz past Chelsea’s midfield and straight at the heart of Chelsea’s back four. With the entire defence struggling individually, a solid midfield would have alleviated some of the issues faced: this simply did not happen.
Very rarely were Chelsea undone by creative genius. It was often simply someone more energetic running past someone playing in cement boots. A certain Spaniard was among the most dribbled past players in the league last season (on average twice per game and an eye watering four times per game in Europe). While his Serbian counterpart was the most dribbled past player when Chelsea won the title in 2014/15.'...

Mr I-too-know, how much was touted as Neymar's transfer fee before he arrived Barcelona? £48 million

From his statement, he was obviously referring to this figure, except Neymar's father told him in secret that the real amount was more than £70 million.

Shut up. You're only displaying the traits your club Barcelona is known for; Telling lies and engaging in fraud.

The touted fee is irrelevant because that's not the actual amount Barcelona paid. Obviously your vice president then failed to report the actual fee and he even got charged with fraud. We are talking of how much Barcelona paid to get Neymar and the actual fees were so ridiculously high and differ from what was reported. Use the Internet; you can't claim ignorance as excuse here.

He even admitted the truth recently; http://www.espnfc.com/barcelona/story/2905573/neymar-cost-barcelona-more-than-%C3%A2%E2%80%9A%C2%AC100m-president-joesp-maria-bartomeu

Another issue with the case; https://www.theguardian.com/football/2016/jun/14/barcelona-agree-fine-neymar-tax-fraud

Neymar didn't cost £48.6m or €57.1. He cost about €100m.

see below

Neymar's transfer at the time was actually a world record but you guys just had to get your hands dirty while getting him. While that's not really my concern, you shouldn't use it as an example of prudent spending and say Bigkesh was wrong. He was entirely spot on.

Another lie of your's is Sterling's fee. He didn't cost £55m not even with the bonuses. It was De Bruyne that costed that amount.
I initially told you to move on from this so i wouldn't embarrass you but you refused; I've changed my mind.

I can make things even more difficult for you, why don't you provide evidence that support the falsehood you told of Sterling's transfer costing £55m like i did with reputable sources for Neymar?
