First, the correct spelling is lipoma, and it is a benign tumour of fat cells i.e it is not a cancer. Secondly, i m sorry but surgery is the only option. The good news is no need for general anaesthesia. Most procedures can even be done in the doctor's office. BUT WAIT!!! If u r outside this country, there r other options like liposuction, laser tgerapy, cryosurgery, etc. PEACE!!! |

Further reiterate what one poster wrote:surgery is d standard treatment available& in gud hands its quite safe,done under local anaesthesia& most patients go home dat same day.Know is d word surgery dat scares u,but its quite straightforward for a lipoma 1 Like |
