how are you sure the poor victim in the picture is not Muslim?

you are talking as if there is a declared war between the muslims and the polytheists as was the case in Makkah when the muslims were subjected to war.boko haram and their bombs do not discriminate between who is muslim and who is not.in fact more muslims have been killed by boko haram.this spread of chaos and terror in the north is bigger than boko haram.the terror is unleashed on innocent people to create a designed chaos to make a political statement.

the verse you quoted in the Quran is limited to those polytheists of the Quraysh who declared war on the muslims because they refused to worship idols.yet still,if they cease their hostilities,then there is no need to fight or defend oneself.the verses make it clear that the muslims are told to fight those addressed as unbelievers,not because those people did believe,but because they oppressed the muslims:

They will be destroyed by whom? By God himself.
Jesus never instructed Christians to destroy anyone because of their unbelief. A good example of what Jesus did is shown in Luke 22:50-51 "And one of them struck at the high priest's slave, slashing off his right ear.But Jesus answered, "No more of this!" And he touched the man's ear and healed him.

Christianity is following the teachings of Jesus Christ.

The Quran:
