ShiftControlAlt: 1. Peugeout 406
2. 2012 Toyota camry L
3. Volkswagen Golf Series
4. Honda Civic
5. Kia RIO

Do you agree?
All the above mention cars are too expensive for the average Nigerians, and not really suitable for the ruggedness of our roads.
And all except for Golf are expensive to maintain.
Here is my own list of vehicles suitable for our roads and average Nigerian:
1. Keke napep.
2. Bike(commercial kind)
3. Datsun truck
4. Beetle(Original model)
5. Pasat.
6. 404
Those are the ideal vehicles for Nigerian roads.

I'm surprised no 1 has mentioned Toyota Hilux
Even though I'm looking at getting Toyota Tundra or [if money no reach] Tacoma, that Hilux is a beast made for 9ja roads
Construction,Haulage, Security patrol; just name it.

We are talking cars not trucks. But even toyota hilux is not the best, I just don't understand the hype. You may want to consider chevvy avalanche in Place of tundra.compare the two and see which is better.

Toyota is the best car in Nigeria.
Re: Best 5 Cars For Nigerian Roads by San2ski(m): 11:39pm On Dec 02, 2014
gloryland:
Peouget 406 (FOX) all the way. The stability is unimaginable. I have pulled a lot of stunt with mine and it never failed me. Taking sharp bends at high speed, 180kph is normal for the fox.The entire built especially the suspensions are designed for Nigerian roads unlike camry. I change my camry suspensions every 6months. The 406 headlamp is the best for night journies on bad roads. I will always have a FOX for rugged journies.

You wan sell this one
I am interested.
