Time by Linusclark(m): 10:24am On May 02, 2012
In the morning,
I was a frisky boy
and I played with a toy,
I wasted much time on frivolities,
but I knew that discretion was the better part of valour,
I knew one day,I shall be a bullish bard,
because poetry was my best winning card.

In the afternoön,
I was a celebrated bard,
because I worked hard:
I worked like a Trojan;
I wrote sweet songs that won me plaudits,
but I knew one day,I shall die!
O God! Like a bone I shall dry!

In the evening,
I was in a mood of cautious optimism,
but was thrown into a mood of helpless pessimism
when Death came upon me like a ton of bricks.
O Death! Thou obscurantist, must I go with you?
O truth is stranger than fiction!
I accepted my freaky fate:
and walked with Death through the golden gate.
