Today Saturday 5th 2012, Federal university of Agriculture Abeokuta (funaab) will be having their 20th convocation ceremony for post graduates and undergraduates. Recall that Saturdays ago, the university and it’s board named Prof oyewole as its new Vice chancellor to succed Professor olaiya balogun who will be going few days from now.
Prof Balogun still the current vc has done remarkably well, during his tenure has saw the school FUNAAB changed positively with new structures, departments, standard of education and even a change of name from university of Agriculture Abeokuta (unaab) to Federal university of Agriculture Abeokuta (funaab). A former student was telling me that when he was in 100level as at 2006, almost every place in the school was full of mud but now there has been a drastic change when he visited some two weeks back.
As funaab convocates her students of postgraduates and undergraduates today, we and hovabuzz wishes them favor and good tidings in their future endeavors as the go out to face the future.
