But in my case, celine comes first.

You're comparing people accross different genres -- that's a sure disaster and could develop into a war . I prefer Enya by the way, Celine next and I dont like Mariah at all. It's just opinion.

Interesting question--I say this:

1.  Mariah:   The most technically proficient.  If only she'd get some decent material to sing!  Amazing vocal prowess.  Sometimes a bit too showy with all the trills and such, but I love the five-octave range! 

2.  Enya:  The most artistic of the three.  Thinks (and performs) outside the box.  Purest, most natural tone of the three. Most interesting selection of music.

3.  Celine:  The most accessible of the three.  Doesn't scare you with Mariah's acrobatics, but doesn't reach as far aesthetically as Enya, either.  Sounds a bit like Streisand sometimes, but borders on the bombastic at others.

All are superb in their own ways and very worthy of a listen in my book!
