Nothing is practical, nothing is impractical. It depends on what you want, don't let anybody tell you different! 2 Likes |

Why not!!! These are the types of "houses" synonymous with residential areas in Ghana's affluential areas such as Tesano, Airport, etc. Infact they make up 99% of the structure in such vicinity. So if Ghana, why not Nigeria You can google this if in doubt. 2 Likes |

After a stressful experience on my first becos as we said back then, we were too young to have our first house not to be income generating (so we built the a two wing (1duplex+2 (3bedrom flat))), I wouldn't mind any of these designs adapted to nigerian standard for my next. But OP why waste 2 plots for this. with half a plot or 1 your cool and you'll have a whole estate of space... |

They will rather make it storey buildings, whereas these kind of bungalows will make a beautiful estate, residentials. But surely it is very possible |

To those that claim we have such houses in Nigeria, my question to you is are they also built with woods, shingles, and aluminum sidings just as appeared in the above pictures? If yes, can one of you please post an actuall picture? If not, then they're not the same. I believe naija might have semilar houses as in design/shape or even better style but I doubt if our weather will welcome building built with the same material in those pictures just as they're built here in the US. |

These designs are exactly what is vogue theses days. Of note, everyone now wants a house with a parapet. Although the functionality of their floor plans is impracticable here due to the weather, so also their building materials. There's no question, these buildings can be made with no difference in Nigeria, though that Chimney in one of these pics is useless in Nigeria. In addition, Nigerians own more number of cars in a household, so, the need is for a parking lot not a garage. |
