finally i finished my website it took almost 8 months to complete just want to say thanks to those who

help with ideas on how to make this site complete both home and away, so i should make this brief.

wippypick.com is a site i decided to create for people who wants to own a simple store they can

control without basic knowledge of site design and its free.

with wippppick.com you can upload has much item as possible for (free) and it comes with a user

friendly url that you can share with customers and on social network eg (wippypick.com/mystore) simple

right yes, this way people will be able to remember your store name.

with us you get lovely navigation your own country currency symbol, catergory menu, watch item or

I think for an online store/shop, lighter themes , white or light gray, are always better.

It makes the shopping more pleasant and stressless. Imagine going to The palms shopping mall and all lights are dimmed...

cool.. looks like an online supper market. But almost eat all my megabyte just now if i had not stoped it desbite swithcing off image. Great job all the same. Kudos... Hopefully I must have learned much and disign mine with ease within the next 2 years. Though just owning a website is not the case. Constant traffic is major thing and nairaland gat it

Funny how people talk. Its a site he wants others to use. Active participation from others. If he created it just for fun or a hobbyist site, thats when the highlighted statement you just made would make sense.

Any way i sell laptops i have a lot will be uploading on the site kudos designer unlike many u see out there where they just download change the header image and upload and tell u they are web designers some one else did something different hmmm i tire for my country people

@ The highlighted part, if you mean that they will look the same, not necessarily . There are so many light themed webshops that look different. Depends on the way you visualise it. For instance check this list of online shops. They are all light themed but all unique: Yours is a nice setup but am always interested in the aesthetics. Dark themes work in some instances like Fashion and something like online movie store though.

Nice concept, could use a much better design. Stick to the development and hire a graphics designer to help with your layout.

Bottom line for me: your concept is good, your development may be good (I didn't check), your layout is not good (and I am not surprised, if you are the developer...developers are not designers).

Definitely, you're not a web developer. You don't know shit about visitor retention. I am not here to exchange words with you but it is so unmannered and uncultured(in the web master sense) how you talked to me.

A web designer always assumes that 99% of his visitors don't know what they are looking for.
User experience, layout, colour scheme. They all matter.
He asked for opinions, thats what he's given. Critics are more important to him than the good stuffs he did right.

I think it would have been better if you opened another thread and asked people to review your own site.

Nice design, looks good for a download website. kept wondering when someone would do ours, but really, why would you use 'ng', you're making your website restricted to only Nigerians. And pleeaaaaassssssseee, remove the validating footer stuff, it is not even validating.

Nice CSS validation, i don't think i'll ever create a web2.0 site that will have a validated css

Remove the alexa tag in your header, if they have validated it, there's no need to keep it there and for google's own, upload the html file version.

Your favicon is no way related to your website's logo, redesign pls.

The amazon widget, the background is red, make it your website's background.

At your sitemap, hover over the links, they all have 'Rss feed' tagged at the end

so for example u are looking for lets say a car and u visit and online store what will u be looking isnt it a car why visit a site if u not looking for any thing if u want to buy someting dont u have an idea of what u are looking before u start searching, people like u dont seem to know how to use the search engine visit google.com stare at it u hear and the answer u are looking for will come out.
