Sporedust Media, TitheBoy ENT, and Gaming Network NG are working hand-in-hand on a long term project to revolutionize the gaming community in Nigeria. The project is mainly aimed to organize and develop the community to international standards and to also gain international recognition. Just a few of the objectives are to:
(a) Create a regular series of weekly/bi-weekly/monthly gaming events
(b) Create an avenue for regular gamers and highly-skilled gamers to develop their skills and a chance for gamers to take part in professional gaming
(c) Structure gamer hubs/lounges for a better social experience amongst gamers
(d) Endeavor to make games more affordable and accessible in the country

These and many others are being planned right now and of course, more than anything, a lot of your co-operation and support will be needed. The project will kick off with a roadshow starting with a tournament on the 29th of May (Democracy Day). Details will be posted in a separate thread (https://www.nairaland.com/948095/naija-game-evo-roadshow). It's a free entry tournament with prizes and an exhibition afterwards so I encourage everyone to be there. People outside Lagos should also be aware a lot of things are being planned for them.
