I am going to be very objective here. All I know about him is from his public persona and public offices he occupied.

His show on radio was good. I do remember him rejoicing on his television show when Obasanjo said he was going for a second term. It was crazy...he just kept repeating the fact and rejoicing throughout the show. It was at a time I was really dissapointed with the Obasanjo regime, and this made me dislike him at the time.

When he later got the NNPC job, I understood what the rejoicing was all about. Anytime I heard him speak during the fuel subsidy protest time, I would alwwyas tell myself :' shey it is that guy that was rejoicing on air that Obasanjo is coming for second term'

As the spokesperson of such a corrupt entity as NNPC, you have no choice but to lie your soul away. Its a job you either take or turn down... I really cannot honestly fault a person for doing the legal job they signed up to do. Maybe he was just a salary earner and not directly involved in the looting taking place there. Maybe he was a nice guy in person and just doing an honest job to feed his family.

Rest in Peace. We all will eventually all die. It was appointed by God, hence the senselessness of primitive accumulation of wealth.
