Hello nairaland! I always like to speak or writte a good grammer but, due to the poor education background i can't, and now am in higher institution. Pls i need a hint on how to speak a good grammar.

listening to new and use their own english lyrics to adjust, and also wen watching movie...listen very well in order to gain from the english spoken to adjust yours, also wen reading articles e.g from newspaper, magazine etc...use the construction in there to ammend yrs... Gudluck!

Cut down on "local content". By local content I mean Nollywood movies and music. I recommend British content. Like Doctor Who, or BBC, or any other British movie or tv series you can get.
For writing, read The Economist magazine. They've got some pretty mind-blowing english.
Don't go American, their accent sucks.

Reduce use of your local language. Speak English more often, if possible, always. Don't be shy even when you make mistakes, take corrections and move on.
