 Whelan, who signed the Nigeria international from Crystal Palace for £2.5 million in Jan 2010, added that he would consider selling Moses if Chelsea made an appropriate offer. Moses has 12 months remaining on his current contract and talks over a new deal have stalled but Whelan, in confirming Chelsea's interest, insisted he would not sell cheaply. "The offer that Chelsea have made is no good. It is way too low. It is rubbish," Whelan said. "If the price is right we would actually consider letting him go, yes, we have to do that. "I have said to Chelsea 'thank you for your offer but no'. What they are offering is not enough. "I have not put a price-tag on Victor but let's say that what Chelsea have offered is a lot less than £4m - that is absolutely stupid." It appears Victor Moses' agent is trying to lead him astray. He will not get playing time at Chelsea. He needs more time at a smaller club like Wigan. Here's what Wigan chairman (Whelan) said about that: "We have offered him a new contract but it seems the agent, more than the player, wants to move him on - at least that is the impression we are getting. It cannot be for the player's good. Victor Moses needs another year or two before moving to a club like Chelsea. He needs games and he won't be first choice at Chelsea, I wouldn't have thought" Chelsea is a team that usually plays one striker. So Moses will be 3rd or fourth behind Torres, Sturridge and maybe Lukaku. That means he will spend a lot of time on the bench. 1 Like |

Sagamite:Guy you are the retarded here,the information says a lot less that 4m pounds. Jordan Hendersen was signed from Sunderland for 20m pounds by Liverpool and I think Moses has been a far better player than Jordan in the last few seasons. For a player who is playing football with his real age and highly talented,Moses is worth more than 10m pounds that's if you know how talented Victor is. Manchester City was in pole position to sign him from Crystal Palace in 2010 before the agent piched tent with Wigan so he can develop his game at Wigan before moving to a bigger club. |

Limaoscar:@Limaoscar, you are a big slowpoke,for a player who has been in England since he was 11 years and has never played on harsh weather like ours not to mention our potholes ridden pitches you don't expect him to start scoring goals from his first game as he needs time to get us to the more physically demanding African football which is different from what he is used to in Europe. Also remember that he played as a winger in two of the matches he has played for Nigeria, you must be high on something to think that Moses is suffering from inferriority complex. Moses plays against top players in the EPL weekly and he reduced Chelsea,Man U and Liverpool players to nothing. He was a beast in England youth teams and that's why England refused to allow him to play for Nigeria because they know how talented Victors,Aluko played for Rangers last season and was their star man netted a brace against Celtic but has also struggle to impress in Nigeria, you call that being inferrior too? I dont know all the ooh aah on here Victor Moses has one year left on his contract (though he is under 24 so Wigan can still demand a transfer fee but that would be worked out by the tribunal) if Sturridge cost £7m and Chicarito cost also £7m how much do you think Chelsea should pay for Moses. Victor Moses would be replacing Solomon Kalou who was released or was out of contract at the end of this month. he is less selfish than Sturridge and quicker than Malouda. |
