The Gunners host Wigan this Saturday at 15.00 GMT , that's 4pm Nigerian time.

After demolishing the Bridge last Sunday, Wenger and his boys are in high hopes once again of having a shot at the title.  .  .yeah, funny to some given the recent erratic performance by the Gunners, but still realistic to some die-hard fans.
Adebayor believes in his team being able to clinch the title anyway, so perhaps it may be possible. Add to that the fact that Skipper Cesc is yet to lose a game (2 games only notwithstanding wink ) .

Arsenal are currently 4th on the table, Wigan 11th.

With Arsenal's current boost by the win over Chelsea, do you think they can defeat Wigan at the Emirates come Saturday? Let's not forget Arsenal did lose at home to Villa recently.

Just hope we will be consistent this time around. I am getting tired of win one big match and lose the next two. We need to step up our game especially during this festive period where the boys are usually separated from the men!

Its arsenal's 3. . . . . Wigan's hardly the team 2 come 2 the party with a defensive mind-set, just the kind of opposition that the young guns luv!

Up Gunners,we are so lucky to win today, What we need now is to focus on our next match against Middlesbrough next weekend,we really need to get the three points to secure our chances, I am a gunners for life,
Re: Arsenal (1) Vs Wigan Athletic (0): 6th December by Goldman08: 9:08pm On Dec 06, 2008
Arsenal fans, can you people tell me what's wrong with Emmanuel Eboue, dat guy almost gives us bad luck,he was just playing nonsense today,i am so glad that Arsene Wenger decided to bring him out before bad things happen, Anyway Good luck to Arsenal fans,
Re: Arsenal (1) Vs Wigan Athletic (0): 6th December by MrCrackles(m): 9:08pm On Dec 06, 2008
Another three in the bag

Get in there ya gunners!! grin
Re: Arsenal (1) Vs Wigan Athletic (0): 6th December by Goldman08: 9:15pm On Dec 06, 2008
Eboue was awful. No I know your thinking isn’t he always, but this was different gravy, he had a horrific game. He gave the ball away no fewer than 10 times in the later minutes with lazy passes, his tackling was week, he looked like he’d lost his balls. He really looked like he was going to cost us the game and was always out of position. Thankfully he was withdrawn in the closing moments because he really was going to give a goal away.
Re: Arsenal (1) Vs Wigan Athletic (0): 6th December by MrCrackles(m): 9:17pm On Dec 06, 2008
He seems to be ring rusty and prolly deserve a good few weeks in the reserves to get back up to speed!!
Re: Arsenal (1) Vs Wigan Athletic (0): 6th December by Goldman08: 9:29pm On Dec 06, 2008
@MrCrackles,
You are definitely right about that, Did you noticed that most of the fans were even booing him when he was substituted instead of giving him some courage.
Re: Arsenal (1) Vs Wigan Athletic (0): 6th December by marlet01(m): 10:07am On Dec 07, 2008
We played shyte in the first half, though we were more purposeful up front in the 2nd half & we should have been more than a goal up, to me the most important thing is that we got the three 'vital' points, & am happy for that.
