I've bin eyeing that hostel since my undergraduate....I now undastand what new Msc students pass thru.....UI jus collet big money for school fees and these pple go to classrooms to sleep..o ma se o!!! I guess there is still vacancy in new hall..as for me, i spent about 7,000 registering at different agent to enable them secure a place for me in town but, they all failed.... Luckily for me, i stumbled across a good Samaritan who gave me a place in agbowo, not far from school (a hostel like building for strictly m.a and ph.d students, male and female),nice and comfortable plus 24hrs running water, security and light plus gen all night.... not so sure it's the same but the hostel is closer to school though... About 20naira to school via bus, 30 via cab and 40 via bike....heard vacancy still exist..check my signature for details and contact me for further details and if need be, i will take you to the landlord... Rent is less than 120,000 for the total package

Concerning the accommodation, I asked earlier and was told there is two more vacancies... One for boy and the other for girl... Total Package is 120. ...I suppose initial rent is 100 while the other is for security, light bill and fuel, maintenance e.t.c for the entire year..I was unlucky in my own case, I paid 150,000.That's because I got to know here though an agent... Usually, agents here take 50% of the rent you pay.. After begging and Begging, they helped me reduce the price from 180,000 to 150,000...but now I know better. indeed experience is a very bad teacher.
