Recently acquired a 2008 ACURA MDX THROUGH A DEALER , on nairaland . Car is like brand new . Car recently started showing check transmission on the dashboard display screen . With flashing D drive lever light , took it to a technician who used a computer and said no problem . He erased the message . After driving for about 20 minutes the lights came back on . Took it to the electrician who said he will service the drive switch . Light went off after service . Next day I start the car , drove for about 30 minutes , check transmission light and flashing D light show again . I was adviced to disconnect battery for 20 min and reconnect . Light disappeared . Now it's showing again on my way back from church this afternoon . What should I do please . Any experts on NL ? HAS ANY ONE HAD A SIMILAR EXPERIENCE ? I NEED YOUR HELP PLS |

Ill Suggest you service the Transmission, Simply Change the Transmission Fluid and Transmission Filter, this should correct the Problem. |

My OGA , I have changed the transmission fluid , scanned the MDX , but the check transmission light is still showing on the multi information display and the D lever keeps flashing . The transmission is no longer smooth . Am sad now . Spent like 30k so far . Bimbo , help me . Thanks |

Is your manual transmission mode still operational? Flashing D light could mean that there is a malfunction with the Transmission. Flashing D is tranny issue or maybe engine issue. It goes into limp mode and only allows automatic operation with certain gears, i have heard of such problem before, but the dude had a 2007 MDX not a 2008 |
