well my source said they havent received any signal 4rm the NHQ to start recruitment yet. As soon as they start and I'm informed, U will be among the 1st to know.

And what cadre are u talking abt? is it Detective or Cadet officers(for graduates)?

But I guess dey still recruit O level.

for medical staff,yes but for others, not yet.

@mko abiola, they also recruit o level to serve as guards/support staff, that was done some around april/may this year.
the cadres i know of are the guards/support staff(o level), the detectives (diploma or anything above o level bt below a bachelor's degree) and the cadet officers(Bsc holders).

@Annchynony and ogbu, wud let you all know as soon as i get the info. I was among those that went for the interview, those selected r not going to be permanent staff until the the general recruitment is done.

No sir, they don't advertise, a signal is from the national headquarters(abuja) to the various state commands permitting them to commence acceptance of handwritten applications from interested individual.
somehow the info gets around. there's no advert, those who get to know are related to a staff(be it a relative, friend or associate etc) one way or the other.

Pls,how true is it that HND graduates are required to av upper credit while Bsc is lower credit.

. For B.sc it is second class lower while for HND its upper credit
