SACRED ROSE THE PALMWINE DRUNKER

Hmmm my head spins from its base
Hanging slightly from a frail neck
My legs stagger from underneath itself
For the earth quakes under me
My eyes sees the vision of doubles
Everything whirling around strangely before me
I try to laugh but it aint coming
For the hiccupping is really something to contend with
I just can’t believe that I am drunk

Palmwine flowing from the sacred trees
Sacred Sheyz being the tapper
Relished it I did for I love it
Pumping in my blood with the yeast spreading
My countenance changing with every single sip
For the strength of my manhood lies therein
“Sheyz bring one more keg”
That’s my voice blurring that I can’t even comprehend
Should I say I am wasted….
For palmwine has done the worst to me
But to stop it is like dying in itself….
Haha…. I must drown all my sorrows in the keg

Hills…. My sorrows compound for you
The election is here and the votes casted
The people all like you but there is a rival
Come drown in this alcoholic ocean
Then arm yourself for assassination
Send Index to the great beyond….
For this affair is a do or die
Funny I am ready to die with you….

There goes my precious Ola
Battle ready, fire burning in her eyes
Rock steady she will always be
Ready to battle the females to cliché my love
Fear not for at your palms my heart sleep
Awaiting the day you will drive your blade through it….
Yes Ola… for the oracle has spoken
Heart break will befall the man the gods have chosen for you…

Could that be my Friend Omoisi
The one we went hunting together….
Coming back limping after facing Ebiote
For his strength is childish matched to hers
Could it be his third limb is weak
Surprised I am for he is a youth…
One of our most feared warriors
But alas a warrior he is in Pen but not in bed
Well, come take Alomo….
For your sleeping giant it surely will wake….

The voice of the people rings in your head
Discomfort lies the head with the crown
But favour from the gods follows you…
For Destiny now does you bidding
O sacred Sil…..
Watch for the sunning is rising on you
And the crown is coming your way in no time
Yes the Sacred gods have spoken
The message transferred….
Do the bidding of the gods O SILHOUTTE…..

Words from the keg….
Sacred palmwine of the sacred kingdom
Blurrish but yet followed….
Spoken from the drunk mouth of Sacred Rose….
Heed thou… For a drunken prophet is risen….

I enjoyed reading your work, but i was taken unaware by the third paragraph.

Thats the mindset of the people.... Not my fault I wrote it like that... I was surely under the influence of ALCOHOL wen I wrote this poem.... In fact, I typed it on my PC..... No editing.... I wanted to see wat it will luk lik when I become sober... So don't put the blame on me but on the Keg of Palmwine I drank..... cool cool cool cool @Goldie(BBA)luks
