Dear friends what did u think about the listing is it ok?

Super Eagles manager, Berti Vogts, has finally released his long-awaited 22-man provisional squad for the 2008 African Cup of Nations as exclusively reported by SoccerStar.

NFA bigwigs gave their blessing to the list on Monday after a marathon meeting held by Vogts and the Technical Department of the football ruling body.

SoccerStar scooped that those expected to be unveiled by noon today, by the German-born coach, barring any last minute change, include new first choice goalkeeper: Austin Ejide, Dele Aiyenugba, Vincent Enyeama, Joseph Yobo, Taye Taiwo, Daniel Shittu and Ifeanyi Emeaghara.

Others are Obinna Nwaneri, Mikel John Obi, Seyi Olofinjana, Yusuf Ayila, Obafemi Martins, John Utaka, Nwankwo Kanu, Yakubu Aiyegbeni, Osaze Odemwingie and Dickson Etuhu.
Also shortlisted are Ishiaku Manasseh, Obinna Victor Nsofor, Onyekachi Okonkwo, Ike Uche, Rabiu Afolabi and Ayo Makinwa.

The Eagles’ camp will open on January 4, 2008, in Malaga, Spain.
The team have been scheduled to play a series of friendly games with top German Bundesliga side, including Sudan before jetting out to their group venue in Sekondi on January 15.

Nigeria are in Group B tagged Group of Death alongside Nations Cup favourites, Cote d’Ivoire, Mali and tiny West Africa neighbours, Benin Republic.
