Get a good sachet inverter
I replaced a 1.5kv Schneider Homaya (that has been with Schneider since July) with one and the difference is clear.
Battery lasts longer, less wahala.

Try another repair centre or go to Arena and get the inverter fixed. The guy you keep returning it to may actually not be doing anything to it or simply incapable of fixing this issue.

Actually why I kept returning it to him is because he fixed the board for 45k and I thought I should be able to get value for that money. I told him to change the board actually because it seems the board he used is t a match.

He used a mismatched mosfet but working though. It will never perform well unless the exact number on the mosfet is used. There are mosfets that can be used interchangeably in other electronics devices but the practice seems not to work with inverters.

It is not a bad idea to have a satchet inverter, at least as a backup, while you work on fixing your main inverter. In this solar-inverter journey, you need to have extra of all the components that makes up your system because you don't want to get stranded in the middle of the night when a component fails.

thanks bro but I heard sachet inverters can't be used with battery, only solar, though I haven't browsed about it because I wasn't really interested

Pls I need help from the experts in the house. Few months ago, my inverter (1.2kva) got damaged by thunder. We called the installer and he said the company doesn't have the board available as at then that we should buy sachet inverter pending when they'll have it. But we decided rather than buying a sachet inverter that we shud fix it elsewhere. But ever since we got this new board it has never worked well, if we put on the TV, it'll say overload, we can't do fan and TV concurrently, it'll be screaming overload. We have returned this inverter more than 3times for the guy to fix the issue yet nothing. This last time is even worst, we can't put on ordinary light, it's not powering anything at all. And now Alaba has closed till next year. Pls any idea what we can do because it's really frustrating me

I put on my fridge occasionally during periods of good sunlight.
So far so good, I have electricity 24/7

The answer to your question is NO.
If you're planning to use pumping machine, then you'll go for a bigger system and that will also involve a bigger amount of money.

1. Why not put the make of d battery there. Make e no go b those starplus of 145/150k variant e go buy for u
2. Wat kind of inverter is he buying. Make u no go buy inverter wey surge go spoil in no time.
Better transformer based inverter with 30a AC charger is also sold for 85k
3. With the kind of charge controller will he be using, there will b some energy waste cause he go parallel those panels, your best is to buy 190/180w with 8/9amps which new 1 is 45k. U can buy 4 of this.
Make sure he doesn't cut off the connector, make e buy branch connector, cause e no put am 4 d list.
Price of charge controller is ok. 40a pwm I suppose.
Every other tin is cool just make sure those breakers are properly sized.
2 DC breakers (32a for panel and battery)
1 AC breaker (order 4a variant on AliExpress as it's difficult to get this here. Lowest av seen is 10a which is too big for ur setup)

Unless you're someone who buys in bulk, don't try UBA prepaid card. Their annual maintenance fee alone is 19usd, chargeable at black market rate. I had to dump mine after funding it once.

Get a virtual dollar card from any of the service providers you know of. Right now, I can vouch for chipper cash because I've made use of them several times for international payments. But I'm looking for something with a cheaper exchange rate. People have suggested kudi wave (heard they charge $2 for their virtual dollar card) and klasha. Will look into any of them and drop a feedback if you want one. But for now, I'll suggest chipper cash. Works perfectly well except for the high exchange rate issue.
