I was telling a colleague the same thing yesterday. It's like they are delusional, wishing the problems away instead of tackling them head-on. They are relying on their divide-and-rule tribalism, which the Yoruba are fond of using. What they don't seem to realize is that hunger isn't about tribes. We don't care if the Ibo join in the protest or not—that's their own problem—but hunger is ravaging everywhere, so the people are angry.

The only people I pity are the very few good Yoruba because this protest will quickly turn all tribes against the Yoruba. Everyone will start attacking any Yoruba living in their state. Here in Edo, we have them, and trust me when I say that whenever we think of bad governance, the first point of anger is towards that any Yoruba neighbors, its just that everyone is holding back for now.

If Ibos like let them sit at home forever and not join the protests, the rest of us other tribes are enough to push home our points.
A fellow of Vast wisdom you are, You fully comprehend my message, mainwhile some short sighted folks are playing ostrich, trying to be politically correct.

sadNigeria is sitting on a time bomb, anyone that cares for this country, should help tell our leaders that Nigeria might not survive the next hunger/hardship protest, if tangible reforms aimed at ameliorating the hardship of the masses are not taken, this I have spoken.

I really feel so much pains. All Naval officers and men should be experienced in swimming.

I wish I never read this news. So much pains.
Experienced in swimming counts for nothing in that scenario, except for providence, high tide at night again for that matter.

For the record the said officer was a trained combart Diver, u know what that entails?

Tinubu was never voted in Power by majority of the Nigerian masses. The clamour is that Tinubu should return fuel subsidy. Whatever policy Tinubu thinks he's bringing is not helping Nigerians.

Nigerians are suffering and dying of hunger while the bastards called politicians are feeding fat and spending billions.

It will soon get to a point when we will start invading the houses of these politicians, then they will truly understand what hunger can do
As weird and unenlightened the bolded might sound, I think that is what is needed, for the corrupt elites to have a feel of what ordinary Nigerians are feeling.

Police have caused more problem to nigeria as a country than they have solved..

My problem is that when things goes south soldiers will be deployed to go and die for the problem created by police..

Police was the cause why boko haram is still killing innocent people,if they hadn't killed yusuf while he was in their custody and on handcuffs we might not have anything like boko haram today..
You have salient points o... Even this boko-haram problem lingering for over a decade, it was police that killed their leader Yusuf Mohammed that triggered their radicality.

Seriously that draw no good at all ...
Truth more like a well calculated setup, I still give the Falcons some credit, two separate 1-0 lose against the best of teams is quiet commendable, imagine super eagles against the best of best male teams, would have been total whitewashing.

totally agree here. I never thought we can come to say this but only after a year, the whole 8 yrs of Buhari was far far better than BAT and we are only just 1 year in. Makes me shudder what we are to expect for the remaining 3 years.
Exactly sir, I initially exclaimed good riddance to bad rubbish, on completion of PMB's tenure, then I was thinking we've survived the worse, never knew the worst was yet to come under BAT.

Even the government after tinubu won't make it better. Save my message for future reference
With exception of Late president Yar'adua, the past presidents of Nigeria have always been better than their successors.

I Thought the jinx would be broken by PBAT due to former President Buhari's Abysmal leadership, but am surprised, because so far Buhari's regime is far better than the present for the time being.

Nice game play from Super Falcons they tried their very best unlike Super Eagles, the Brazilian ladies where made to sweat out their narrow win. Besides Ajibade is a well deserved captain, and an excellent footballer.
