Even your landlord, or you as the landlord will murder you tenant, or landlord, over an issue so frivolous.

Majority that have lived in the United States that practices this , will tell you that this a big mistake to try this nonsense, & it will never pass, politicians are wining the. gullible common man, state police indeed.

State governments cannot even pay salaries with federal government allocation, where are they going to get the money to finance a new police force?

Your landlord will not try it because he knows you also have a gun, and he doesn’t want to die too. That’s the truth you are not seeing.

In a Country like America that have all it takes to do a background checks and psyche evaluation. how has it helped them stop mass shooting

You're pointless nigga

People that commit mass shootings know that a lot of people don’t have arms. That’s why they target schools and churches mostly.

Now imagine if citizens were armed... Terrorism would stop within a week.

Edit: those quoting me, saying it would lead to murder and mass shooting, most of you don't understand how gun licences work. If they can include background checks, psychological evaluation and tertiary education as criteria, it would definitely end up in the right hands.

I'd rather have my licenced Glock or Smith & Wesson pistol than to put my safety into the hands of the police or military.

Good point.
I once argued with a pro-gun American on this, and he said something that changed my mind. “A armed society is a respectable society”, meaning nobody will harass you anyhow with any gun if they know you have a gun on you like them. Everyone would resolve most matters peacefully because they wouldn’t want escalation.

Well, wifey is making above that here, so if I have to accept it, I will be the only one going and maybe coming back to visit every weekend. So, it does not really worth it for me. There should be better options somewhere, though it would have been a very good point to Kickstart my career here.

All the best bro. I know Boston has numerous start ups especially pharma but I guess your discipline - radiology is more inclined to hospitals.

Of course it's too small to relocate that distance if you are a family man, but not bad for a single guy though. It's like starting all over again. You gat to find a new house to rent etc. If the pay is like 80k and above , I would definitely risk it. For similar role here they pay 79k and above. But I learn cost of living over their in Arkansas is cheaper though

Arkansas is a lot cheaper to live than Massachusetts. If you’re surviving in Massachusetts with your family, you should in Arkansas.

It will sure going to make my experience solid, at least in the field. However, I am not a single man, I got family. So, I have to consider that too.
It's in Massachusetts.

So if I get you right , it’s Arkansas to Massachusetts? Omo less than 50k is too small.

Well, the job is in Southeastern State, Arkansas while I am in the Northeatern State.

Northeastern state is not a state name na 🙄.
If the experience will make your CV look more attractive. I’ll take it provided it wouldn’t get you stranded financially.

JUST LEARNT ABOUT EB2-NIW A SHORT WHILE and interested. i am a medical doctor of over 20 years experience. Someone please guide me on this. Thanks

It’s really kinda straight forward process.
For myself, I was already in the US on a J1 visa( non immigrant).

After 3.5 years, I adjusted status status to H1b (immigrant) with help from my employer. Then I applied for GC using eb2-NIW. Then got 10years green card.

The only stressful part was getting a document called No- objection statement from the Nigerian embassy during the adjustment of Status stage.

Also, I only used a lawyer (wegreened) for the adjustment of status stage. I prepared and submitted the eb2-NIW application for myself, my wife and kids. This saved me extra $5000 or more.

But the thing cost money 💵 o. But it’s worth every Penny cos now I don’t have restrictions on work and my present drivers license is valid for 5 years.

It's not been easy, got two interviews same week for same role, health physicist/radiological health specialist.

The first interview went well as they only asked non-technical questions such as tell us about yourself as someone rightly suggested. I got the offer. But it's in another State, which means I will have to relocate to accept the offer. The pay is a little below 50k/annum. So, I feels it does not worth relocating for so I declined it.

The second interview included technical and non technical questions. I did not prepare for the technical questions even though I managed to answer 2 questions correctly out of 5. For the non technical questions I answered all correctly.

So, right now I don't know if they will offer me the job 'cos obviously I failed the technical questions aspect. I will just give them 2 weeks, if I did not hear from them I move on.

I am also considering teaching in the high school, so already I have rewritten the license exam which I passed and I have like two interviews in the weeks to come.

This is my 7th month here it has not been easy looking for job at all. I can't even count the number of applications I have sent out already with plenty regret emails.

I am only working remotely with a non profit organization for now, and they only give me 20 hours per week of work. You can imagine how small the pay is. If nothing sup by next month, I might just get a small car to use as Uber in addition to my part time job.

Hi,
If you don’t mind me asking, Which state are you in, and where is the first job offer based?

Question ❓
1. Did they know that you were coming?
If yes, Bread is a wrong gift to give to a prospective inlaw while leaving the house.
2. Did you tell your girl that you were going to see her parents?
The food they served you should have been enough gift from them .
Why bread ?
Is a NO NO FOR ME.
I STAND TO BE CORRECTED.
