This Magnetic Door Switch Sensor is a small reed switch encased in an ABS plastic shell with included screws for easy mounting. Normally the reed is 'open' (no connection between the two wires). Having to do everything for the disabled or aged ones could be stressful, burdening and time consuming especially when you have other appointments to meet up. Obviously, you get more worried when you are away as you think of what is currently happening around them and their reaction to things. Smart Home Internet of Things offers opportunities to increase independence by reducing the need for personal assistance at home.
