At first, i feel like ignoring your comments and unsubstantiated qoute but on the second thought, I felt i should correct your insinuation and unfounded facts about me otherwise you will continue in your archaic ways in responding to inquiries on this forum in the name of being blunt. It should be known that 99% of Nigerian seeking Visa Approval are potential migrants which you are not exempted. If i have devised F1 Visa to migrate to a greener pasture is purely my decision and none of your concern.

I have a study permit application to Canadian Embassy which is still under process, I am baffled to hear from you that my visa application was refused since 16th of May 2019. I never knew you now work with Canadian embassy for you to have had a first hand information about my denial even without my knowledge. I need a proof about my Visa denial from you for this forum to see that you are just a noise maker trying to seek cheap attention.

I have also seen a lot of people got approval with their family on F1 visa, what makes you conclude that Family is the only ties to home country? Also for you to conclude that I do not have sufficient funds to maintain a decent life in US is very nasty comment to have made and shows how shallow your mentality is. I do not need to expatiate on my financial strength but heaven knows that i can feed and pay your bills conveniently for 2 years.

Yes, I made it know earlier in my post on this forum that I was denied a visiting visa in 2018 which is not a crime, I can conveniently tell you that I have lost count of number of time I have Visited UK with my family.

I will admonish you to control your loose tongue while replying to comments on this forum and always make a constructive arguments.

TWoods:

Considering that you will not have access to your mom's treasury bill investment, that leaves you with a little more than $30,000 for tuition, fees, room and board, feeding and living expenses. Neither you or your wife will be unable to work... so how do you intend to care for an entire family and maintain your status on $30,000 for a year or more?

Yours is a confused mishmash of a desperate economic migrant masquerading as a student. Profiles like yours make it harder for genuine students. As at April 19, you were still actively processing a Canadian student visa - obviously you were denied. As at May 16, you were planning to apply for a US visa alone, within the span of 3 days, you are now planning to file with your wife and kids. How is this proper planning?

To be frank, you will be denied a visa whether you go alone or not.

1. You already have an MBA, how do you justify paying thousands of dollars to earn a masters degree again?
2. You were denied a US visit visa in 2018 and a Canadian student visa in 2019... your profile is that of a non-student seeking to use the F1 route to migrate to the US.
3. You compound that by showing up at the embassy with your whole family - no ties to your home country.
4. You have no funds to maintain a decent lifestyle in the US.

Good luck.

Please NL, i need a clarification from anyone that has applied or currently enrolled at University of New Haven. I applied to University of New Haven in December, 2018 to study MS Finance for the 2019 fall entry without a request to pay for application fee, I do not know if this is the norm? , I also got a waiver for GMAT, IELTS and 40% scholarship on my tuition fee. In addition, I received my my I20 last week through UPS without paying a dime. I have read here where people are paying to receive their I20, just a bit confused about this.

The school also sent me a form online to fill my interview date once it has been scheduled. I am just worried if these are the unique traditions of the school

Please don't listen to those lazy ass jobless people. Just follow your dream, be focused and determined. It's not about what anybody says. I was in your shoes before, coupled with the fact that i didn't even have the opportunity that you had now then. I just hate reading comments like this. I've heard hundreds of this years ago before i came to Ireland 10 years ago from the UK. Everything we hear is an opinion, not a fact. Everything we see is a perspective, not the truth. Your self-worth isn’t defined by an approval rating. Nobody know your journey, where you’ve been or where you’re heading. Trust your intuition and who you are deep down inside.. + keep praying... Simple!

Thanks for your contribution. I was really hopeful and have no doubt in me that I will succeed in my journey until about 3 days people I know both outside and within Nigeria start discouraging my intention. Once more, your advise is really appreciated.

Dear Nairalanders, I have been offered an admission to study Finance at Master level at Dublin Institute of Technology, I am really confused at this stage as many people i have met keep making derogatory comments about Ireland and its economy misfortune mostly to foreign students after their program. I have a good paying job here in Nigeria and married with 2 kids but my intention is to remain permanently after my studies so that my family will be able to join me thereafter after my stay has been regularized. I will need a candid advise from someone who is currently living in Ireland as a student to advise me on my decision. Any idea will be appreciated.

Results can be out any time from 12 pm if council member meets depending on the length of the meeting. It is not necessary in the evening. It is text message that usually come late in the evening but results would have been pasted @ ICAN office once council member ends their meeting and also released to accredited lecture center immediately.

ICAN general performance is not always released before results. All are just speculation. We don't need to be worried about performances. Let's believe in God for the best.

ICAN council member usually holds meeting on the date result is to be released and after the meeting results will be released. It is rather getting too late. We should keep all hope alive

ICAN is a monster. It has even improved tremendously. It is usually second to God. No regards for students. Imagine I wrote ACCA DIFR on December 9, I have received a message that results will be released on. Monday 16th @ a specific. Time. I also wrote CFA LV1, I have also received an email that results will be released on Jan 24th. ICAN should wake up
