Admission and Matriculation Board, the
statutory examination body in charge of

NYSC / NYSC Payment Of N75,000 To Ex-corps Members Disclaimer Notice by naijaunion: 11:19am On Aug 12, 2017
This is to inform the general public especially
ex-corps members that the attention of the
NYSC Management has been drawn to
publications with the above caption by some
online platforms.

The blogs, 'Safe Job' and 'Vanguard News',
cited a purported passage of bill on payment
of stipends to ex-Corps members by the
Senate, and published information claiming
that the
NYSC Director-General had launched a portal
for the payment of the said stipends.

A fake Facebook account, NYSC Online, has
also been spreading the content published by
the two blogs.

Management wishes to state that the
information is not only false, but also
misleading; and should,therefore, be
disregarded.

We further wish to inform our esteemed
stakeholders that the so-called "NYSC Online"
is NOT the official Facebook page of the
National
Youth Service Corps.

Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Ojere, Abeokuta
(MAPOLY), is set to establish School of
Agricultural Technology to enable its students
to diversify and effectively contribute to the
economy.

The Rector, Prof. Oludele Itiola, who
disclosed this in Abeokuta, explained that the
department would make the students key
players in generating ideas, to carry out
researches and to
bring innovations in agro-allied services.
His words: “MAPOLY is currently leveraging
on the state government’s efforts to reclaim
the entire polytechnic land, most of which
have been
lying unproductive, for the establishment of
the School of Agricultural Technology.

This will not only break new ground, but also
offer opportunities to lunch our graduates into
a sector that has long seemed neglected.

“We shall make our graduates key players in
generating ideas and carrying out research, as
well as, in bringing innovations to primary
agriculture and agro-allied extensions, that will
diversify our economy and reopen the nation,
as a leading hub for business and innovation.”

Education / LASU School Fee Remain #25,000 As Management Debunk Rumour by naijaunion: 11:20am On Jul 07, 2017
The attention of Lagos State University
Management has been drawn to the rumour
making the rounds, in both the traditional and
social media, that many institutions have
increased their tuition fees and Lagos State
University was conspicuously listed as one of
the institutions.

Source
http://www.mycampusgist.com.ng/2017/07/lasu-school-fee-remain-25000management.html?m=1

The Lagos State University Management
hereby states categorically that the story of
the increase in tuition fees with regard to the
University is baseless, unfounded and
completely untrue. The University has not
increased her tuition fee and does not have
any intention to do so. All stakeholders are
hereby assured that Lagos State University
Tuition Fee remains Twenty Five Thousand
Naira (#25,000.00) only. Lagos State
University Management has equally urged the
students to go about with their normal
academic activities without any fear.
