NFL 09-10 Season Is Here: Where Are All The NFL Fans?
« on: September 11, 2008, 09:09 PM »

  EDIT: 2009-2010 Season Begins

Year-long Purely Baseless, Emotionally Fueled Predictions  Cheesy

NY Giants - Don't make the playoffs, they will forever pay for denying the Pats a perfect season

Detroit Lions - *cough cough* Make the playoffs, I'd like that kid Stafford to do well.

Cincy Bengals - For the sake of Chad please please please stop wasting your potential!

Pittsburgh Steelers - Solid all around, very likely to make a run back to the SB

Houston Texans - will continue to stink  Grin

Indianapolis Colts - only a shadow of what they used to be and it will show. I hope they don't smell playoffs

Tennesse Titans - Can they repeat the run from last yr? Hope so

Miami Dolphins - Abeg carry go! there can be only 1 AFC east dominant team and it is not you.

Denver Broncos - I hope (against all sense) that the absence of that spoilt diva at qb will leave them better off

SD Chargers - If not for the stud Philip Rivers I would have assigned them to irrelevance.

GB Packers - Go Rodgers go!!! wipe Bratt Favre out of the memories of Packer fans.

Minnesota Vikings - To put it simply, I hope Bratt breaks his own record for INT's

NO Saints - I dunno . . . I don't think the Reggie Bush experiment will work afterall.

Dallas Cowboys - I am already overcome with laughter, Romo will be exposed even further for the weakling that he is

Philadelphia Eagles - For the sake of saving Vick from lunatic, fanatic, murdering philly fans please succeed!

NE Patriots - simply said "SUPER BOWL CHAMPS 2010!!!" Brady coming off the best qbing season ever will return to form and restore the NE glory. Amen  Grin

Disclaimer: the above 'predictions' are subject to change at any moment and for any reason at the sole discretion of the author  Cool

2008-2009 Season OVER!
Abi I am the only one?
Anyways my season was ruined last sunday approximately 8minutes into the game when Brady suffered a season-ending injury.  Cry  Cry  Cry  Sad  Sad  Sad  Doyin and other haters I'm sure ya'll happy  Angry So I don't have high hopes for the Pats this yr.

Dramatic  things I'D like to see happen during the season:

Jets - Hope Bratt Favre changes his mind & retires mid-season

Cowboys - TO cries on national tv, again; Romo elopes with Jessica simpson to mexico & fumbles another playoff ball and Pacman stays born-again.

Giants -  Angry Angry Angry  infact I hope they don't even smell the playoffs!

Dolphins - win more than 1 game

Bengals - Ocho cinco changes his name to something even more ridiculously funny

Eagles - McNabb to play great and earn back the respect he deserves and leave for greener pasture, those ungrateful eagle fans

I'll save my other wishes for later . . .

Hey the Texas got some potential this year oka. So i have some high expectations for them. Cowboys keh? They alright, i mean they got a lil something something goin on. But when was the last time they won something? It has been a LONG while. The only thing of glory to them, is they cheerleaders. And even that is slacking.

You of all people should know not to under estimate the underdog.(celtics) The Texans are coming hungry this year for their First win. I also have some hope for Memphis for some reason or another. Oh thanks for caring. We all just staying alert for this Hurricane. My father forced me to come home just in case something happens.

Cool, glad alls square. Cos the way they be showing the "Red zone" of the path of Ike, talking bout 20 foot waves in Galveston . . . scary stuff.

Underdogs? true BUT the underdogs gotta show some promise of being great first  Wink. I went to their pre-season game with Neworleans few weeks ago . . . nothing special from both sides. Then again maybe its my bias talking . . . I happened to stumble into the dome earlier that day while they were practicing, was really cool to see the players up close on the field but after mumbling some things about people spying on them, security made us leave.  Angry

I hissed, thinking no be say na even Colts or Cowboys, ordinary Texans dey do shakara? wateveh.

Yeah my Dad came and got me yesterday. Even though im not reported in the path of the storm, he wasn't taking any chances.
Anyways, I hope for my Texans. They might come in recking like ballers. I was really looking forward for their game against the Baltimore Ravens. I really wanted to see what kind of team we are going to be this year.

Smiley gotta love daddys huh?  Smiley

Anyways since the Colts are looking pretty rusty and flatfooted, I guess this might be a good time for your boys to rise up . . . people are expecting to see Mario Williams continue on the great season he had last yr and forever silence the "shoulda picked reggie bush" crowd.

Im still not over the whole Reggie Bush and Vince Young thing. They were TWO OF THE BEST CANDIDATES  for the Texans but they picked white boy over them. Utter stupidity. I was literally was about to hit somebody. I mean c'mon. These were two willing folk we could have used but they just passed them up.

Well if it makes you feel any better Reggie did not do much last yr (though he's looking good so far this yr) and Vince young has injury & mental issues.

Reggie Bush is utterly beautiful. I mean delicious. From the way he plays, to the ways sways. Last i heard Vince Young was reported missing. They say he just got in his car with a gun and drove off. Hope we don't have another dead athlete on our hands.

sounds like someones got it bad for Reggie  Cheesy
As for Young, there's rumors that when he's back to full health he'll have to prove himself 'worthy of the starting position' . . . already having troubles? that does not bode well for him and his future

is Mario Williams a white boy?  Cheesy

Vince Young is a dying breed. Thank God for the defensive line of the Titans, they never would have made the playoff last season.
As for Reggie Bush, at best he is average.

I am not really an avid supporter of any team.
I like the following teams
Eagles
Cowboys
Colts
I began to like giants as soon as they defeated the Patriots.
And during the Offseason, I just developed a craving for the Raider culture. though the are a flop - like the Texans - me like them Tongue

Yeah Vince Young is supposely back from his "trip". But i still say he should have been drafted by the Texans, but they went and got that low timer. Jeez, what goes on in the heads of some of these folk. Anyways, i really can't wait until Monday to watch the Texans play Baltimore.
