How To Build Your First Website And Upload It Online In Less Than 1 Week!
« on: January 02, 2009, 03:23 PM »

This tutorial is focusing on how to build a simple website for yourself in 1 week. The is kind of like a workshop.
I will recommend that you signup on http://www.50megs.com/ as starters. The next step is to download the following materials
free from my website:

If you Can Build WebSites
Then visit this other thread i created and see how to step up to dynamic website design http://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-213492.0.html

http://www.mwebng.net/
HTML Editor 2009 Software [Size: 794 KB] - 01 January 2009
Learn HTML 2009 E-book [Size: 142 KB] - 03 January 2009
HTML Learner 2009 - Software [Size: 797 KB] - 03 January 2009

The most important being the ebook. The softwares are straightforward enough, i just created them as fast as possible to help learners, i did not do any documentation on them like that, though they are very straight forward. If you have any issues with them, just post the issues on this thread - it was this thread that necessitated me to create them.

Don't forget, course materials should be featured first for faster learning.

You have done that on a thread on Dynamic website ,  Do the same here as it is helpful.

I am now waiting for questions concerning the book. For those that have not even opened the book - please do and let me see your responses before i continue. The next level is that, i am going to explain how to now implement what is in that book into real life and show you how to create a free website on 50megs and upload your files to it, and also how to remove popups from showing on your site legally.

After completing this round of training, i will now recommend you to another thread i created on how to create dynamic websites.
That other thread is located on www.nl.mwebng.net - somewhere on this same nairaland forum.

Just hang on. People will be back at least by tomorrow. Take it easy. They'll come back and learn too.

Hey, keep the good work flowing!

My site stats shows there has been 9 downloads of this book from my site - but i am not still getting feedbacks?
It either means the book is complete and there is need for questions / corrections or the book is a complete.

I wonder which category it falls into.

All I need is feedback - so i know how to help you guys. Remember, there are lots of HTML books, online, the only difference with this one is that you are getting the opportunity to interact with the author himself and get to ask questions and answers,

If you have read the material and you have any question concerning website development, whatever please post it here.
And maybe i forgot to mention it before, after html, the next thing to know is css, then javascript before rushing off to php/mysql, i know i created some threads somewhere on this board, if you follow this link http://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-214594.0.html - you will find the list of tutorials (some) that are available.

If you are using cpanel. . .like hayprof.net, then you visit hayprof.net/cpanel to login
after logging in, open  your file manager to access your folders, you will find a folder named
public_html, open it, then use your uploader to upload your page there
so your home page will be index.html or index.php
if you upload your index page to say /public_html/index.html
then open www.hayprof.net - that should bring up your index page. . .

Well. . .you are the first person to say the ebook is not downloading, so many people have read it and have discussed some stuffs with me on it. .
Aaand my site stats shows that the book has been downloaded 60 times. . .i mean complete downloads at this very moment. . .

By the way, there is free signup on nairaland. . .you can use free subdomains. . .i made use of www.diltony.i8.com several years ago, when i first started learning, i think it is still there. . .the only thing with that one was that, i blocked the ads with some javascript codes then. . .

If you are not convinced that 50megs.com has free signup, then click here - http://signup.50megs.com/cgi-bin/path/signup/choose_domain?xt=1237751244&verify=1237751242

Screenshot attached. . .besides there are lots of free websites online you can signup, like freeservers.com, besides these sites that offer free
also offer paid. . .you are meant to chose free subdomain. . .and if my site download link is not clickable on your php. . i wonder why. . .then send me
an email on support@mwebng.net requesting for the free html book
