Ladies: what do you carry or keep in your hand bags?

Today, our ladies give a very credible picture fom their looks which make an impressive impact on us. They wear dresses that matches or goes along with their shoes, headgear, bags, lipsticks, wristwatches e.t.c. and we just have to give kudos to our local and international designers

But that's not the issue because something is bothering me.their hand bags. I'm just very curious and ignorant of what they actually carry in those bags.

Apart from money, keys, handsets and makeup kits, there are other things ladies hide and are always reluctant to say...


There was a time i happen to open the hand bag of a very close friend in her presence though her mind was not actually on me she could have stopped me in a matter of seconds but too late... and hey...!!! guess what i saw in the hand bag???

A dried maize combe and some 6-inches carpenter nails! 

So girls, what are y'all going to say about that one?

Robb (cant do without em)
Wallet (thats a must;cards, passes and all)
Key (gatta get in house)

My special furry pen
chewing gums and sweeties (emergency)
maybe a brush sometimes
tissues

thats pretty much it

ohh..and weed and a gun 

Wallet[contains my money, cards, bus pass etc]

Lip gloss, face powder[ dat sort of thing]

Pepper spray[yea, i need it]
a lil comb

 sometimes, i have some extra jewelries[just in case ]

If I'm carrying my big bag most likely I have a book in there as well.

Yes, it's recommened that the ladies always carry some type of defense.  Pepper spray is the best although I do not have any.

It's legal to carry a weapon as long as your licensed to own it

If I had a pepper spray for defense, I wouldn't keep in my bag:
- How does that help me if a thief snatches my handbag first? 
- Will an assailant wait for me to take the pepper spray out of my handbag?

About the gun issue: There was a young Nigerian woman in Canada who kept a gun for "protection", and then one day she shot and killed her boyfriend and was charged and convicted of murder and sentenced to life imprisonment.  A gun is not for defence; it's for killing.  And when your killing is not justifiable, you end up in jail.  pepper sprays are better.

I'm not totally against ladies carrin defensive weapon but i just think its useless most times. It could even be harmful. Men are stronger and violent mentally and physically. If u try usin a weapon on men. He could get it out of your hand (manouvres) and use it against u (except u r trained in martial arts).
