This is something not really good to the eyes, i mean STRETCH MARKS. You would agree with me that a lot of people have this on them especially the fat ones ( both male and female), i dont really know if its a sickness or should i say its tendency of having more fats in the area, i dont understand but all i know its not a good sight. Gurls and guys what do u think about this and is there any cure for such?

Well thanks iice and Red_Lips for the definition and the possible cause respectively Stretch-marks might not be the best sight ever, but i don't understand why people make so much noise about it considering the fact that they don't wish it upon themselves, the thing is just there. I have this friend and she's like "model-skinny", i was so surprised the day we went swimming, and as she was getting off her clothes, i noticed some stretch-marks.  I was so so shocked, because i had always thought it was a "fat people"thing. After that day i got scared ooh, because i then knew it could happen to anybody. its common with pregnant women, theirs is understandable because the body expands to accomodate the baby they're carrying  Girls and guys what do u think about this and is there any cure for such?
And yes dear, thanks to modernization there are cures for it There are now many products in the market, mostly cream-like or gel-like products that can be use to get rid of the "unwanted" marks. So i guess all hope is not lost for "she" who is dating a guy that sees it as a no no and has it. And i'm sure very soon, those that are more cashy than others will be introduced to a lazer(quicker) method of getting rid of it. Then you won't have to wait for weeks to months (depending on your skin type) to see results |

My fiancee has that all over her butt & i get pissed whenever i look @ her. Is there any cure for it? Better still, is there any exercise that she can do 2 get d 'baby butt' smoothness back? Funny enough, she's really slim but her moms is quite fat. Is it a hereditary thing too?

I dont understand why there is so much fuss about stretch marks.
Well all i have to say to the poster is that i pray that when you get a girl pregnant she doesnt get it on her belly.
I have always had stretch marks on ma arms and ma thighs even as a child growing up.
And i have it on ma belly from my pregnancy. There are body creams for it, which i use but its not as obviuos but still there.
Its just kinda sad that people are being discriminated by some cause of something they have no control over.

Because they are ridiculous. and most of these so called creams are just for show in my opinion although there is one pregnant women tend to use called Merderma, pretty expensive, not sure if it's just for the strech marks on the tummy or that anyone can you use it |

Vaseline also helps prevent it (during pregnancy that is) my friend applied it daily and till date (after birth) no stretch marks and YES it is unsightly. |

well IBDat its a good thing you mentioned the vaseline cure ooh, because who knows? someone nearby might benefit from it too  and i get your point Red_Lips, because that something works for "Mr. A" doesn't mean it would work for "Mr. B" , but someone's just going to keep trying till they achieve their goal and come to the point where they find out which, exactly works. So its a nice thing that everybody is listing the cure they have witnessed, which of them is the best is just something the victims will have to find out for themselves nothing good comes easy, so if they're willing to get rid of the marks then they just have to exercise patience. Guys, I can't believe you hate your partner's stretch marks!  It's not an illness, heriditery, nor is it specific to body types, ie fat or slim. It's a perfectly natural condition, and affects women more than men. It's as the term suggests - when there's a weight gain, and a rapid weight loss over a period of time. This can occur during, or shortly after pregnancy. It's pretty much like cellulite, which again, affects women more than men, and again, can afflict fat or slim folk. Stretch marks are part and parcel of MOST women over 30, who've had multiple pregnancies. You certainly shouldn't find it an eyesore in your partner, just love them regardless. We're all going to get old at some point, and men have their own problems as far as the ageing process goes. |

The first time i saw the marks real close was when i was in the University,i had this girl friend who had it marks allover her breast,stomach,hips ass,nearly to her knees. I was first shocked when i saw the marks cos that was my first time of making luv to her,in the deem light of my room,she was the BOMB,by the time i recovered she was already out of her pants,it was a sight to behold,i devoured her that night like a man possessed. Ours was a whirlwind affair cos whenever we made luv i wud always remember the effect she had on me. Presently i have a girlfriend who has the marks from neck down to her ass,she is not fat but have the marks ,so i don't think its affects only fat people,but it sure looks cool on my girls. even SEXY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
