Biggest Hair Styling Mistake!
« on: February 22, 2006, 06:17 PM »

What is the biggest mistake you have made in regards to your hair?

mines was
pulling the relaxer through my already relaxed hair from root to tip

and i tried highlightin ma hear, and ma friend did it , it wasnt what i was expectin
using rattail combs to comb through wet hair w/out using caution

have yall ever gotten your hair braided it was so tight , u could sleep???
getting braids that were too  too tight around edges,  another factor contributing to thinning edges
thank god am all good now though,

My biggest hair styling mistake occurs often - I sometimes forget (or refuse) to cut my hair or trim my sexy beard!

my biggest hair boo boo was a full head of spiral curls which took ages because it was my own hair and similar to perms white ladies have nothing would straighten. Could not change it because i asked for it and got home husband said i looked like a poodle. washed it out same day , next morning was worse because i woke up with full head of fuzz.

The biggest hair styling mistake i've made was: glueing my extensions to my hair, all by myself (of course it was cute), but then, i took  it out myself again, and oh my gosh,  it cut my hair like craze. I didn't use the hair glue remover, infact my hair became history. It cut/broke ehnnn!!

hahaha,  that should explain why i now have a short hair. The glue didn't entirely spoil my hair, but it contributed to reasons why i decided to cut my hair. The back was "re-je-ing". You know reje? Cheesy Cheesy

yea i cut my hair but not into a style like how yours was. But i put weave in my hair still just not with glue. but i am thinking bout doing my next weave with glue but i will let a profesional put it in and out. (i think with glue it comes out better because the weave wont be bumby. it looks more natural.)

but in jesus we wont make any hair mistakes or mistakes anymore.

My sister ehh, i got tired of having to wake every morning to style my hair, with the curling iron.

So now i have weave on. I did the back side "puff puff", and i weave the front, i sowed the weave in my hair with needle and thread because GLUE IS NOT TOUCHING MY HAIR ANY MORE!!!! it looks good tho, im used to doing my hair myself,  except if it's a big deal like a place i need to go.

Ohh and it doesn't look bumpy. It also don't feel bumpy, because i made sure the puff puff were close to each other and the weave was tight. Trust  me, it wasn't easy doing puff puff on my hair.

See, my hair is growing under, while the top is looking sexy. Now that's what i call AWESOME. You've signed out, i for show u the picture of the weave i fixed myself.  Smiley

Welcome back,  i shall get the picture,

Anyways, u say,  u jell your hair, like in jerry coils right? I did that to my hair, and used hair spray right, by the time i got to school, my head was white. I had no idea why,  maybe it was the hair spray or the jell,  it was awful, thank God i had a hat.  Cheesy

I remember one time I was trying to curl my hair by myself and I used these cheap rollers that had these clingy things on the.  I put the rollers in my hair and I let it stay over night thinking I was going to look real good in the morning.  When I took the rollers out my hair was all crinklely and stiff.  I had to brush the stiffness out and it hurted.  My hair was sooo frizzy and poofy. Sad

My hair is actually good with gell, sometimes gell just go wrong on it,  i don't know why. I guess it was the hair spray, and yes oo, thank God for hats. People will just start thinking i have white hair in my early years.

The biggest mistake I ever made was when a lady barber shaved off all my hair when I wanted it low. She even asked me if she could put something shiny on it. The full story is here.

You r close, but u didn't mention that you have to tie it with thread, into like little little buns, on your head. You know how u pack babies hair, but smaller.
