Gerrard59: From the beginning of my post, you can see where I asked how?, where and when? Isn't it. That should answer your first paragraph. For the second paragraph. Please post links to LinkedIn post or university publication of the schools that pays for flight of students. I myself schooled abroad, US to be precised so I know about funding, GA, on campus jobs, RA and the likes which I am not disputing. The fact I am disputing is university paying for your flight. Please post links and proofs. The university will also pay for entrance exams like GRE, GMAT, IELTS, TOEFL and the likes right?, The university will also pay for WES or any other credentials evaluation right? The university will also pay for SEVIS or any other body in the proposed country for him right? That reminds me too, the university will also pay for his visa application fees, police certificate (if required) and also lodge him in 5 star hotel too shey?. The university will even do shoppings for him before boarding his free flight too I guess. The university will even pay his passport fees at Nigeria immigration service as well. Uncle. I am a realist and do not live in fantasy island. 150k naira savings (about $200 ) WILL NOT DO ANY SHIT in international admission. That's even tier 2 schools application fees alone in the US 1 Like |

EPISODE THREE (SEPTEMBER, 17, 2010. LOCATION: On a Journey At a friend’s wedding) Bayo had been calling me weeks before his wedding, reminding me of how to execute our plans for his wedding. He selected me to be his “best – man” for that day and I have been running around to make sure that I prepared very well for the event. I had to disturb my tailor for weeks and reminding him of the occasion I needed the clothes for before he could finish up with my suit. Just like the usual traditional way of dealing with Nigerian tailors, I lied to him about the date and deducted three weeks from it and he handed over my suit to me a day before the fake date I told him that I would be travelling. I just finished my NYSC during this period and I didn’t have much money on me because I couldn’t save enough money from my little job at that time. I managed to arrange 15,000naira which I travelled with. Bayo was someone I was so closed to, he has been my best friend right from University days and I couldn’t despise him when he told me that I was going to be his best man, I had no choice than to inconvenient myself and squeeze out the money to foot my expenses. He wanted me to get familiar with the occasion, the family, the bridal train and all other things and as a result of that, he begged me to come over to Jos about three days before the wedding so that we could plan things together. Four days to the wedding, I have arranged my portable travelling bag and was set to travel to Jos where the event would be holding. I got to the park very early in the morning, asked of the price of the Bus fare and I made my way to the back seat. About 15 minutes later, a beautiful dark slim lady arrived at the bus stand, I was listening to early morning news from the Fm stereo of my phone when she came and the “Agberos” took her bag to the booth of the bus. She stood at the entrance of the bus and was staring at everyone as if we were kidnappers. Few moments later, she made her way to the back seat and sat down beside me. The adrenaline in my body system was so swift that I became confused on how to start a conversation. “ Hi, good morning” I greeted. “ good morning” she replied with a killer smile. I became restless and I couldn’t concentrate on the news I was listening to again as I was watching her pressing her phone and sending a BBM chat message to someone saying “Dear, just entering into the Bus, I am on my way to Jos” and the recipient replied saying “ok dear, missing you”. The chat between them continued and I was trying to figure out more details about the conversation as if it was my business until the driver came over to disrupt my reading enjoyment. “uncle, please” “ Aunty Please” He said to both of us and we were wondering why he was begging. He told us that he wanted to place a load at the last seat on our row because we were supposed to be three on the seat but someone paid to put a load carton on the seat. As a gentle man which I was forming to be, I replied the driver saying “ no problem” but my seat-mate bluntly disagreed. She began to shout and ranting saying the driver wanted to inconvenient her. Due to the fact that the driver didn’t want to lose a passenger as the bus was almost filled up, he turned to me and said “Uncle, please help me talk to “baby” to be patient, I guess he thought we came together, before I know it, the girl bursted into laughter and saying “Baby kee??, am I todler?”, the other passengers in the bus also joined the humour and they were adding effect to it. The driver further added to the humour by saying in Yoruba “uncle, Ejo e ba wa be iyawo yin”, meaning; “uncle, please help us beg your fiancé to let us comply”. We both laughed and she agreed in the process, this added more sauce to our conversations along the journey. As the bus was moving, she caught me staring at her and when she turned to look my face, I would turn my face away out of shyness and she would smile. After several minutes into the journey, I was having a low battery on my phone and I brought out my mini laptop from my bag to charge my phone with using a USB cable. As I was about plugging my phone, she cut in “ excuse me, please can I get a free port on your system to plug my phone using my cable?” “ yes off course!!!!” I replied with anxiety. I collected the USB from her and plugged it into one of the ports of the system while she plugged the other end into her phone and said “thank you” . This gave me a lead into having conversations with her after few minutes of summoning courage. ME: HI, I am onihaxy HER: HI, I am Adeola. ME: nice meeting you Adeola ADEOLA: you are welcome. That was how I first met Adeola on my journey to Jos………. |

Episode 2 As the boring “sermon” was on going, some guys were chit-chatting with some ladies, I could also see some people already exchanging contacts. As all these were going on, my mind was just lost in several thoughts of what manner of organization I found myself in. “But why will relationships be prohibited here?” “But this place is not a bank where such laws should exist?” “Does it mean that one won’t be able to have something with all these pretty girls?” As I was thinking about it, I was staring at Adeola and she was also staring back at me which made both of us to smile occasionally at each other. Each gaze at her was sending me back to the memory lane of the past moment we spent together before meeting again at XYZ, some of our old romantic moments was flashing through my head like a picture and it got to a time that I was totally lost in thoughts and stopped concentrating on the “sermons” been given by the speakers that was addressing us. “positioning ourselves to outshine our competitors!!!” was what I heard from the guy sitting beside me as he stood up to answer a question been asked by the presenter, that was when I jerked back to reality and realized that I have missed a lot in the orientation program to the extent that a question was been asked and I didn’t noticed. I began to feel pressed and started having this urge to ease myself and urinate. I stood up from my seat and went to the side of the hall to meet one of the speakers and took permission to ease myself like a school student will do to his classroom teacher, he nodded in agreement and I stepped out without even asking where the restroom is located. I began to walk around, looking for a room with the notice of “toilet” or “restroom” but I couldn’t find any. The pressure was getting so high on my bladder and it appeared like it was going to burst in the next minute. I just entered into one of the offices close by and the entrance door was slightly opened. I opened the door and went inside with the hope of seeing someone whom I will ask to describe where the restroom is located but I couldn’t find anyone. The arrangements of the tables and chairs showed that people haven’t resumed for that day because the furniture wasn’t well arranged and I saw some papers littered on the floor. I was about turning back when my eyes went to one corner entrance of the office and I saw the writing “Restroom” written at the top and I was a bit relieved. I walked pass the tables and went towards the entrance of the restroom then I found out that it was demarcated into three with three separate labels. Ladies on the left, gents on the right and handicap at the middle. The three rooms each have an icon on the door stating the genders and the handicap room has the handicap icon as well. Just as I held the handle to the door of the gents and was about opening the door, I head a soft moaning coming out of the handicap restroom. Out of curiosity, the feelings to ease myself disappeared and I pressed my ear on the door to listen better. “huuuuuuuch” “ ooooooouch” “You are killing me baby” “I have missed you baby” “Deeper and harder baby” “ooooooooouch” “Please be quick, we must not be caught” And I further heard a soft voice from a man who seemed to be breathing heavily “few moment baby, huuuuh!!!!” “ I am almost cumming!!!!” “ huuuuuuch” “ooooooooouch”. Out of surprise, the pressure to urinate disappeared totally and I became interested in what was going on in the handicap room and who could the couples be. While I was imagining the situation with my ear pressed on the door, I noticed they were quiet for about a minute and the next thing I heard from the guy was “Go Go Go” “ I will be here for a while and come out after you are gone” Just like a police who was expecting criminals to come out of their hidden place, I stood still at the entrance with my two hands folded and I was waiting to see the person who would be coming out. The door was opened and a fair busty and pretty lady came out of the restroom holding a broom and packer with some toilet cleaner and looking so sweaty like someone who just finished a marathon. There was an inscription “exclusive clean” on her vest which made me to conclude immediately that she is a cleaner in the organization. On coming out and sighting me with the look on my face which was obvious to her that I have caught her , she screamed “Jesus!!!!!” with fear all written on her face and the next thing she did was to fell on her kneel, stretched out her two hands towards me , rubbing it against each other and she was pleading and crying. OFFICE ROMANCE PROLOGUE: Hello Team-Onihaxy, sincere apology for my silence since the successful ending of the Adebimpe the facebook girl series. I have been so engaged in activities that took most of my time. Onihaxy is back with a new “10 seasonal story” (lol). Updates will be dropping once weekly for now, when I’m more chanced, the update rates will increase. Sit back and enjoy reading…. EPISODE ONE ( JULY 21, 2014, LOCATION: XYZ NIG LTD HEADQUARTERS ) I couldn’t hide my joy when I got to XYZ limited to resume office as one of the new employee of the company, I had woke up early that day because I didn’t want to get there late like the popular saying “first impression last longer”. I had set my alarm previously on Sunday night, the anxiety of the new job didn’t allow me to get a better sleep as I lied on my bed and continued to flash back to all the tedious test and interview process, I remembered how I always refreshed my email address on a per minute rate when I was expecting them to get back to me after the interview. I remembered how I almost worked myself out with anxiety for a whole three months without hearing from them at all, I remembered all the prayers and fasting sessions I had when I was frustrated and something was telling me that the old woman in my village must have been behind the delay. I remembered when I got the good news email about my offer letter and I was told to print it out and bring a copy of it along with me on the resumption date, I remembered how I was happy when I scrolled through to the remuneration area and I saw that my salary was so huge, I remembered how I rushed down to the cyber café to print out my offer letter and I scrolled over to the last page without bothering to read the terms and agreement on the middle page. I remembered how I rushed down to yaba in Lagos to buy pant trousers, new shoes and new shirts. All these anxiety and reminiscing led me to sleep late on that Sunday night at around 2am. I walked in to the reception and I introduced myself to the lady I met there and she told me to sit down on the seats provided in the reception. As time was going by, other people were coming in to join me on the seat and we suddenly engaged in discussions and started asking each other several questions. “bro, it seems I saw you during the interview?” “ yes!!!!, you were the guy on a blue shirt whom the HR manager was asking on how to generate 10 million naira monthly.” “How did you see this job?, did you know anything about them?” “ do you know whether there are other benefits attached to it aside the basic salary?” “it seems I heard that we would be entitled to a loan after a year?” “what role did you resumed for?” “ do you have anybody inside that you know?” “ do you have an idea about their closing time?” “ what are they really into sef?” Different questions continued to fly around as many people were busy interrogating one another at the reception, few sharp guys started getting close to the new ladies among us by exchanging contacts and forming “Mr nice guy”. I was just seated on the chair and taking my time to look around the reception and reading the charts that was placed on the wall. At around 9am, a lady who was gorgeously dressed walked into the reception looking so stunning and astonishing, I raised up my head and scanned her from the toes and saw the ID card of the company on her chest which indicated that she is a staff of the organization, I raised up my head further to see her face and she turned out to be Adeola who happened to be my long time girlfriend whom we got separated by a circumstance. “Adeola!!!!!!!!” I screamed “Onihaxy!!!!!!!!!!” she shouted too, I stood up and walked closer to her while she turned to my direction; both of us hugged each other so tight that other people who were seated suddenly stopped discussing and asking one another questions and they decided to turn us to a cinema movie. ADEOLA: onihaxy, is this your face?. What happened to your line? , I have been trying to reach you for ages and it has never been reachable. ME: so sorry about that dear, I lost my phone and I couldn’t retrieve my line because I couldn’t provide the security questions that I was asked during the process of retrieval, so I decided to buy a new sim since I didn’t have much contacts on the old sim. ADEOLA: waoooh. I never believed I can see you again after an endless search. ME: when did you came back from the states and it appeared so soon as against what you told me back then, ADEOLA: it’s a long story my dear. We will discuss about it some other time. So what are you doing here? ME: I just resumed here today as one of the recruits of XYZ company. ADEOLA: waoooooh. That is cool. I am one of the project managers of this company as well. ME: ******checked her ID card to confirm***** waooh, that’s nice. At last, I found someone to show me round this company. ADEOLA: funny you onihaxy. Let me start going to my office as I’m already late for today’s meeting. We will see some other time. ME: no problems dear. Take care. Adeola walked away and I returned back to my seat. One particular inquisitive guy beside continued to ask me some annoying questions and I was reluctantly answering him, I was so happy when the receptionist made an announcement that we are told to move over to another place for a meeting and I thank God that finally, this guy will let me be. We got to the hall with lots of chairs provided for us. Everywhere was looking very neat and attractive with beautiful interior decorations and paintings. About 10 minutes later, three people came inside to address us and they introduced themselves as the regional manager, HR manager and General manager respectively. The regional manager was the first person who came to address us. He greeted us and we all answered. He introduced himself again and told us about the company and what they do. He talked about the vision, mission and goals of the company. The next person to come out was the HR manager, she congratulated us for been successful throughout the recruitment exercise and he told us about the company and what they do. She briefed us a little about what our job roles would entail. The last person to talk was the general manager of the company. He emphasized more about the goals, vision and mission of the company and told us about the strong competitors of the company and the strategies to outshine and outsmart them. As he was talking, Adeola stepped in and she moved towards the front where all of us could see her. The general manager lastly talked about the rules of the organization which were stated in the offer letter been sent to us which I didn’t even bother to read earlier. He began to read out the entire rules one after the other which wasn’t strange to me as they were basic rules which I expected until he got to the last rule which stated that “intimate relationships and/or marriage between two staffs are prohibited”. I became nervous as I flipped through the offer letter to read it for myself and I saw that it was clearly stated in the letter that if any two staffs must engage in intimate relationship or marriage, one of the staffs must resign as any partners or lovers caught will have their appointments been terminated without a prior query”. I became so nervous and restless as I was reading the letter and also hearing the general manager hammering on it again. Just before he finished his speech, Adeola looked at me with a kind of sober look,. My eyes was immediately soaked with tears as I was feeling sad that I would lose Adeola again for the second time, I also noticed the same feelings on Adeola’s face as we were staring at each other.
