The minister of Education needs to do something about our education sector.

It's not fair that studying for a Masters degree overseas will trigger brain complications for students.

How do you explain it that a person graduates with a 1st class or 2.1 in Nigeria, gets admitted for a Master's degree overseas, then slumps and dies either while still studying or shortly after studying.

This brings me back to the words of Aunty Rapuokwu, my CRK teacher, after catching me armed with almost half of the new testament hidden in between my armpit for use as "expo" during one of her exams.

She simply said, "you are only weakening your brain energy by cheating".

And she wasn't wrong; my first visit to the psychiatric hospital as a patient was from a supposed 'brain fäg' because I blanked out after being handed my Further Maths question paper and seeing Quadratic equations that looked like Hieroglyphics.

With that said, I hope village people are finally happy...because how do you rationalize someone not dying from the stress, heartache, poverty and hardship in Nigeria but then dying from a mere headache after succesfully integrating in a country of limitless potentials?

However, it is not right for a religious person like myself to sound so superstitious.

What if it is not underused brain energy or village people that are responsible for all these 'slump-and-die' deaths, but prayerful sidekicks wishing to replace them?

Mama Ramota still says that's the only reason she was scared when she found out I was cheating on her with a born-again Christian.

I'm as much I will agree with half of ur write up, the behind the scenes that happen or is happening in UK are not really been told because most ppu can't say what they are actually going through. Mentally some people in UK are not stable, do know how many hours some ppu work just to pay bills unlike back home that some ppu are living large but only do a little job, some even cut corners. Bruh, u see this Abroad is a total difference from what most us read online

When you hear that, there is huge difference between 6 and 1/2 a dozen.

Nobody holy pass.

Forget about their lifestyle, focus on what caused the accident. Bad roads, police or robbers chasing them or faulty vehicle?

Nobody deserves to die just because they went to a club or party.

Naso I was expecting this message, the generation of new Naija lover. Blame the government for every damn thing, I even read in the other news that it was Tinubu that forced them to club partying.

I am still expecting the common words"In a Saner Country" or you forget to make use of those words. With recent happening all over the world, and if u have ever leave the shore of Naija u will know that even those with the aforementioned u listed, in as much they drive recklessly they do have accident and died like Chicken.

Trac?

Yes, better still you can search on Google for the NHS u want to apply for like the county u want or love to be. But I will advice u go for the less urban area, for e.g why do u want to be in London when area like South Hampton have more jobs to offer, why do u want to stay in Manchester when other areas have jobs to offer in their NHS. Just an advice though.

Congratulations bruh, prepare for another long wait. After the Conditional offer letter, which has to do with reference, occupational and wellness, DBS and ID check before the unconditional offer letter will come it's another long wait.

Though it depends on the NHS, but some take like 8-12 weeks I know the wait can't be compare. Congratulations to you and welcome on board.

Nothing will ever change until the leaders change.
Person dey collect 500m for just sitting and doing nothing all in the name of representing while the other will stand at the airport for hours watching as the children and families of the same Honourable move in private jets.. Nigeria's problem is beyond prayers.

Please stop this crass about leaders this and leaders that, the citizens as in individual have a lot to do likewise. It's only an irresponsible person that shift blame for every deed done by him/her. Do you know that most Naija do same outside the shore of this country? If u are outside Naija, a fellow Nigerian will demand for some Pound or Dollar before they render u help, is the leader outside too that causes that.

To be precise, a guy among Naija in UK on Twitter posted he needed a job with NHS a fellow Naija asked him to pay 4500 pound so he can assist, a job that is free of charge and offer cos.

The fellow screamed, and decided to take the bull by the horn, he did some research and applied for the job and later posted a video free of charge for Naija in UK who is interested in NHS to use to get job without demanding that is humanity.
That is a case of two Nigerians, while one decided to see every avenue as a means to take from fellow Naija, the second person did it with intention to help. Today, the man video is viral and been use by most people looking for jobs under NHS.
Until we stop this mentality of pointing accusing fingers to our leaders and exempt ourselves from the ills igoing on in the country believe me Nigeria won't get better.
Of recent, there's #Endbadgovernance, and yet some people are stealing furniture and some other gadgets. Please, what is the difference between the big thieves and the smaller ones, to me it's just time and opportunity.

Why not? She is copying the governors and the president.
What a child learned from childhood never leaves when the child becomes an adult. That is why some people believe that to get Nigeria in the right direction, a whole population of Nigeria needs to be removed and replaced with newly born kids.

Everything is wrong, she is copying them and yet she will be shouting #Endbadgovernance, while she is doing almost the same like those she condemned.

Quickly, I have a friend who have left Naija over 2years but still collect salary from FG, the day I challenge him on this was the last day he condemned any politicians while we talk. Can't someone just try to be different?

Can't someone just decides to swim against the current, must we all be bad. If things continue this way, we never be a proud country.
Education / Re: UNICAL First Female SUG President Appoints 50 Aides by policy12: 2:15pm On Aug 07
Imagine SUG president with 50aides? I believe she will be among those shouting #Endbadgovernance which is cool by the way, but I think we need to also do #Endbadcitizens, most Nigerian are just criminals in waiting and they we act more than the present politicians.

If she can appoint 50aides as SUG president, how many aides will she appoint if she eventually becomes senator, governor or ministers, like someone above stated this is how they breed their selves into being the worst activist or politicians. To those her the politicians at helm of affairs are bad, but she will never see reason to be that candle light that will brighten her circle.

May God help Naija.

Back home no one want to take care of their elderly, ask any of ur people what is the job they are doing in UK. It's either support work or care assistant they both perform same duties but a little difference exist. Do you know what is support worker, in Naija parla CE it's an advanced maid. You do personal care for elderly, those with learning disabilities, autism or those with mental health challenges. Yet they do the job and pay their sch fees, so e do the job and still send home back to their families in Naija.

While looking down on people job, u said drivers. In as much they aren't working up to you before they feed their family pls do you and to ask which one did ur government do to empower his people? It's so easy to be a critics though.

Thank you so much. May we not learn the hard way.

Sorry man. Glad you bounced back.

I write it here all the time, that when real-life problems show up, all the criteria young people use to qualify for a good partner will disappear. So rubbish such as spec, body type, accent, certification, shape, etc.

Youth these days tend to think that their realities in their 20's or 30's will be so in their 40's, 50's, 60's, 70's, and beyond. Life is hard, and I see it all the time how even the rich suffer.

A good person is like a representation of God in human form. Nothing on earth is more useful, an asset, and an ally compared to such a person. Someone who means well for you, and sees you as an extension of themselves, just in another body.

A person who when everything in life fails you, they are there by your side, gives you their shoulder and pats you on the back that all is fine, and I am here for you. Your personal person, to whom your heart is well pleased.

To be loved is the closest thing to experiencing heaven on earth. Marriage is sweet if done rightly. Two good heads are much much better than one. But if done wrongly, it is worse than hell. [/quote]

Let me speak from experience, when I wanted to married degree was one of the criteria I used then, and not even HND I specifically said it must be a University grad. As a banker then, I saw how HND was being rubbish so I opted for a BSC holder.

Brethren, I can tell u with my full chest that was one of the greatest mistake in my life.I lost everything, I mean everything. She later left, cuz I lost my job and I can't provide for the huz. It took God in His infinite mercy and help from friends to make a way for me and I bounce back. Now, such criteria is not in my book, first thing is attitude, peace of mind, is she God fearing, etc.

May we not married wrongly both as a male/female. I tell u, all this saying she must be this and that will vanish into a thin air. I pray God give us a good man/woman as our spouse. Degree, wealth, beauty, just name it does not make a home or happy marriage life.

Beyond the charades, what makes a home is deeper than what will see. May God help us in Jesus name.
