Still taqquiya from the start. Apparently supposed to be staged as kidnapping but I guess nosy Nigerians were catching up on the script, so the original idea had to be abandoned and a new twist of "arrested by security agency" introduced.

Kidnap one of 'em to give impressions that herdsmen are not complicit in majority of the kidnap cases.

Then later come to the press and say, "at least a MACBAN chairman was kidnapped before. So do you wanna tell us that herdsmen kidnap their own Chairman?"

This has been the narrative across social media ever since this chairman was "abducted". It's all strategies of warfare.
