Non igbos are even scared of the level of hatred igbos have for themselves. More successful igbos have died in igboland than outside igboland .

Wealthy igbos move around freely in Abuja and lagos, but once they are coming home, they use mobile police.

With this unknown gunmen introduction, even the Christmas they normally return will be cancelled.

Many igbos have now made lagos their preferred real estate investment destination, sighting insecurity and low return on investment as a reason.

Some who have in the east are currently putting them up for sale to relocate their property to lagos, where they feel more secure.

Some are beginning to see the possibility of bombing in the SE and want to escape before the value of their property investment in the region becomes worthless.

I never thought in that direction till i spoke with some friends abroad, who said they have no interest in investing in property in the east at the moment. Lagos remains the prefered destination for now.

Not just Lagos. Here in Akwa Ibom, they are everywhere, especially in real estate. I keep telling them, let them destroy their region and run to other places for land grabbing and trying to take over from the owners of the states. When the real war starts, they will be asked to return to their states. Na that time, their eyes go clear.

This is true. I've been trying to interest some African Americans and West Indians buying land in Nigeria, specifically in Lagos and Ogun, to broaden their scope to include other regions in Nigeria like Delta state and East but was having difficulty because of unrealistically high prices you find, this wave of insecurity has made advertising the South even more difficult . I’m finding it difficult to t convince many of these people that Nigeria is a huge country and that they are unlikely to even experience a fraction of the problems being over publicised online.

One single estate is taking over 3 years to develop? Show us the residents in the estate. Begging igbos to come and invest. Go to lagos and see what real estate means.

Let us see the level of work done there after the flagoff. Those that have their money trapped there now, will be regretting.

What a shame.

Majority of IPOB members have no successful business or property investment. So they don't think about such things. They rather destroy which is easier than to build.
so how does Ipob get finance for propaganda and other things?

Otondo there are many real estate going on in Anambra just like the estates in Lagos, the AMC is not your usual estate, what they're building is city on it own, it's a massive hectares of land they are developing, they don't want any structures until they are through with the access roads in the new city, you can only understand when you visit the place the resources they have spent to create access roads in the new city is enough to build normal Nigeria estate

Till then, if the roads will take 4 years to build, i wonder when people will move in. Meanwhile Amen estate phase 2 is almost sold out with structures even as construction is on going.

People who bought property in the estate are already reselling with profit. While they are building roads here for 3 years.
