Greetings nairalanders. My name on other certificate/documents is PETER CHIMA OKORO. But when I collected my B.sc certificate few days ago, I found out that my name is arranged as CHIMA PETER OKORO.

please, is this an error? will it raise argument in the future? And what can be done to effect a correction?

I think you need to go to court to swear an affidavit. There is always a way around such problems. Could be your own error while registering. Engage your school first

You have no problem, affidavit solves it.pass all relevant information of placing your middle name before first name in your certificate of your names to court. Only 2000# solves this so u can face other important affairs.

You will need the following;

Newspaper Publication
Court Affidavit

But what if i don't want to do an affidavit.
Is it possible for the institution to take back the certificate, make the necessary correction and issue a new one?

You institution won't do so if the error is solely yours.
Why won't you want an affidavit?

yeah, they can make corrections, buts gonna take many processes, senate meetings at d end of sessional results before it's corrected, released

The error isn't really from me as I was made to understand that they followed the name arrangement on my admission letter of which when I checked the name was correctly arranged as I earlier stated.
